Chapter 12: The plan and The Upgrade

Alex POV

I slide my back against the wall and sat down. I couldn't believe my ears. Not only Shadow Spade has taken the role of Mayor of France, but has kidnapped Sabrina and used her to force Roger to serve him.

"That fils de pute really stepped in it now." I growled. 

Nino wiped the sweat from his brow as he looked around and saw a group of police cars coming our way.

"We need to move. Now." He said as he pulled me to my feet.

"I know a safe place. My apartment. Follow me." I said as I climbed up the ladder and ran across the rooftops. Alya and Nino followed. We jumped across the gaps, vaulted over various obstacles and kept out off sight from the helicopter's spotlight.  Eventually, we reached my apartment.  I pulled out a map of Paris.

"Alright, here's the plan. We must recover your miraculous from the Shadow Spade's henchmen. Buzzsaw would be patrolling near the Eiffel Tower. So I think we'll go for him first before going after the one who has the Fox Miraculous." I  said.

"Any idea who has the Fox Miraculous?" Alya asked.

I shook my head. "As far as I know, Buzzsaw, or Carapace's double as I would call him, is the only one who has a miraculous. I'm not sure about the others. Since Shadow Spade has kidnapped Marinette and Adrien, I'm going to assume he has the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous." 

"Crap. We're in for it then, huh? If Shadow Spade has their miraculous, then we don't stand a chance against him. Even if we do have our miraculous." Nino replied.

"Where there is a will, there is a way." Alya said with a reassuring tone. "We'll get the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous back, right?"

"We will. But first, we need to be prepared. And I know just how to do it." I said as I ventured to my workshop. Alya and Nino followed.

I pulled out some blueprints from my drawer. There are some designs for a new suit and gadgets. 

"Time to get to work." I said as I cracked my knuckles and started making my suit.

1 hour later.

I looked at my new suit. It had a jet black jumpsuit, a black chest plate with silver lining on the edges and sewed with Kevlar on the outside, black combat boots with iron leg plates, a black trench coat with a wolf insignia on the back, black gloves and a black wolf mask covering my entire face and containing infrared and night vision. The chest plate also has a small wolf insignia on the front. I also created a wrist mounted grappling gun, twin escrima sticks made out of steel ,which can be fused together to form a bo staff. I even made throwing knives shaped like a wolf, smoke bombs, explosive pellets, six electric knuckle dusters and a crossbow with shock arrows. I put on my gear and looked at myself in the mirror. 

"Damn, Alexander Jean-Pierre Peirce. You really outdid yourself." Nino said with a whistle. Alya clapped with agreement.

"Aw, thanks." I smiled. I handed them the shock knuckle dusters, grapple guns and bulletproof vests. 

"Guess this is it. We pull this off or we die trying." Alya said as she put on the vest and knuckle dusters.

"Let's not die. I got the rest of my life to look forward to." Nino replied as he did the same as Alya.

"Ok . Let's rock!" I exclaimed as I put on my mask and made my way to the window. Alya and Nino followed.

Shadow Spade. Your reign of terror ends her. Prepare yourself, for you mess with the wolf. Now you're getting my fangs.
