Chapter 26: Preparing for the final fight

Shadow Spade POV

I stared at the window, gritting my teeth with anger. Almost all of my men have been defeated, Crimson Huntress is dead and two of the miraculous wielders are unable to fight. To make matters worse, the bounty hunters jumped ship. Saying that Le Loup is my problem. Some where killed by the two vigilantes, Silver Bullet and Blue Archer. One of my henchmen even reported that my right hand man, Ryan, is incarcerated and beaten to near death. 

"Boss, they're here. And the crowd are urging them to beat you." My henchman said.

I took a deep breathe and turned around.

"Send all our remaining soldiers to them. Le Loup is mine." I said.

"Yes sir." He said and left my office.

I picked up my cane and left my office to go to the roof.

You want to take me down, Wolf? Then I will be more than happy to cut off your head and mount it on my wall.

Alex POV

After hours of fighting the Spade army, we finally arrived at Le Grand Paris, facing the last remaining members of Shadow Spade's army. I looked up and say Shadow Spade standing on the roof. He had a megaphone in his hand.

"Alexander Jean-Pierre Pierce! Two years ago, you defeated me after I killed your pathetic parents! Now this time, I have the power of the Moth miraculous in my possession! If you have any common sense, you'd give up now!" He shouted in his megaphone.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and saw Sabrina and Lukas. They both had bruises on their wrists and necks. Roger gave me a megaphone.

"You took away my parents, destroyed my childhood, raped my girlfriend, tried to murder me, branded me as a fugitive, kidnapped the Mayor and took other Paris with an iron fist. And now you tell me to surrender? NOT IN THIS OR ANY LIFETIME, FILE DE PUTE! MY FRIENDS AND I ARE GOING TO STOP YOU AND WE ARE GOING TO FREE PARIS FROM YOUR GRIP! NO COPYRIGHT LAW IS GOING TO STOP US FROM SENDING YOU STRAIGHT TO HELL!" I retorted and handed over the megaphone to Roger. The crowd started clapping and cheering  at us.

"Go get him, Le Loup." Sabrina said.

"Kick his ass for us." Lukas added.

I nodded at my friends, fired my grappling gun at the roof and ascended. As I reached to the ledge, I flipped upwards and landed with on knee touching the ground. I got up and looked at Shadow Spade. He drew his sword and pointed it at me. I pulled out my eskrima sticks.

"This ends here, Shadow Spade." I said.

"Yes, Alex. It ends with your death." He replied with a sadistic grin. 

As the two armies clashed together, we started our final bout.
