Author's Note: !!!SEXUAL CONTENT WARNING!!! Hi guys! In the midst of the stressful, serious stuff at work with this family, love seems to shine it's own light into life. I hope you all enjoy a little bit of a break from the craziness with Snake and these horrible hunters. This chapter is going to be a little steamy instead.

Thanks for the votes and comments! I'll see you all tomorrow with another chapter!

Everyone made it home safe, thankfully. The pack was happy that there hadn't been any incidents with hunters. They wouldn't be too happy with the vampire that showed up, though. Max was waiting until they had a meeting until he spoke to the rest of the pack about all that had happened. Reggie wasn't happy himself with that.

He wasn't happy seeing Sage look so comfortable around him either.

While he knew that vampires had a chance of being good, those chances were slim. Their thirst for blood usually overcame any sense of good as they did anything to quench that thirst. This one didn't look like any that he had heard about through school. He had a calm demeanor about him that made him want to believe everything him and his friends were saying. But he didn't like the man one bit.

As much as he loved Eric like a brother, he was with Jane on this one. If that vampire so much as sneezed in the wrong direction, he would tear him to pieces. And he was glad that Max had thought the same thing and gave the bat that warning.

The only thing that would stop him would be Sage. As much as he despised the bat, Sage absolutely loved him. It was easy to see when he went over to hug him and smiled when he saw him. He had talked to Reggie before about Snake. He always said good things about him. But vampires were the best at deceiving people. And it only made him angrier seeing that vampire hug his mate.

All these thoughts circled through his head as he patiently waited for everyone to finish talking to him and Sage. Michael and Alexa were asking questions, and he was pretty sure that Max would be calling a meeting soon. As much as he knew that it was all necessary, all he wanted was to race to his room with the man and keep him there the rest of the night. They had spent the whole day in that little hut. There was so much to read and talk about. All of it was so tiring. It felt like he had just taken three midterm tests all at once with all the information that they were given. And he wasn't even in school anymore.

Sage stayed close to him all day, though. There was hardly a moment when he wasn't touching him in some way. Reggie absolutely loved it. This man had brought out a possessive side that he hadn't even known he had. And the more things that happened, the more he wanted to claim him as his and never let him go. Sage seemed to love it, which only made it worse. He hadn't even marked him and Sage already knew exactly when he needed him close. It was natural for them. They really did feel like two matching pieces to the same puzzle.

They brought all of Sage's things back with them. He was so happy to finally have his own clothes. He had been using the new clothes that Delta Sam and his mate sold at their stores. Leah got along really well with him actually.

"Come on," he hugged Sage. "Why don't I help you unpack and then call it a night?"

Max had decided to make the meeting for the next day, just so everyone could rest and have some time to recollect their thoughts. He was glad just for the extra break in schedule. Now he just had to get his friends to stop talking.

"Aww!" Ana smiled at them. "You two are so cute together!"

"Thanks for ruining the moment," Reggie muttered. Sage just laughed at them both. Even with all the dangers that the vampire was talking about, he seemed happy. It was good, though. Reggie hadn't seen him this happy since before his grandmother passed.
