Spicy
Transported to Morocco
With a dish that makes me drool
Chicken Tagine's most delightful
Your absence not minuscule
Running necessary errands
A thermos of frothed chai
Without your comforting presence
It's diminished in my eye
Weekly housekeeping dreaded
Empty bottle cleaners remade
Your fragrance has vanished
Time stole you, I'm dismayed
The reward of shower dwindles
With a boring store bought bar
Must reorder handmade batch
Scent of Middle Eastern bazaar
My health begins to suffer
Waiting on your return
So bland each day's become
For you, Cinnamon, I yearn
