I am going to attempt a return to Wattpad. It has been a long time without writing anything at all. I'm typically a huge reader too, but that has also been suspended as of late.
I'd like to thank all of those kind people who have asked about my lack of writing. I want to give a special shout out to CFarley982, who just so happens to be the catalyst to this initial jumping back into murky poem waters. Thank you so much for checking in.
Whenever I really need to write (for sanity) it seems like that is the hardest time to do so. The same goes for yoga and meditation for me. I do it daily when life is good and then when things go sideways, forget about it.
I'm only going to update on this first post before getting back into poetry.
Highlights from 2022:
1. Poisoned by our water in Hawaii (military disaster on Oahu), creating skin issues
2. Move from affected area, staying within Hawaii
3. New job, another move, this time to Germany
4. Set daughter up in an apartment in a different part of Germany, hours away from where I am currently residing (for intensive language classes)
5. Rescue pup has cancer and has had multiple surgeries
6. Zooming all over Italy and France looking for my forever home
7. Partial hearing loss (believed to be permanent now) on my right side, from our pup barking directly into my ear while driving, and I now have tinnitus
8. With all of the stress I started grinding my teeth at night and this afternoon have to pick up an apparatus for muscle and bone realignment which should alleviate the horrible clicking and pain in jaw
9. Fall into a ditch and break left ankle while agility training our pup, and this was after a terrible injury two years ago to my right ankle while living in Georgia - Same pup, lunging accident.
10. I am trying to learn French with classes... HAHAHAHA
11. Our pup has been through four trainers now (Georgia, Hawaii, and Germany) but still does the dancing bear while lunging, barking, and possibly growling too. During daily walks when he sees certain dogs, scooters, bikes, and people he goes berserk. It is typically a "happy to meet you" thing, but not always. He is so powerful and he has dragged us all. Now I am taking K9 Institute classes on top of French language classes and his weekly Saturday agility classes.
The list goes on but I am truly disheartened that I didn't go my full five years to finish my poem plan.
Thank you again for checking in on me and I am going to try my hardest to focus and take the time to get back to writing.
