I am not a spider lover. Don't get me wrong, they are fine in their own environment, outside of my home. Even watching one can be okay, outside! However, this week when I let Wraith (our rescue pup) in from the backyard on day, he brought a friend, Spidey.

Wraith has feline traits and as Spidey raced to the corner he stalked it until he pounced. Nightmares. It wasn't large but it had a big fat body and short stubby legs.

I dwelled upon the large banana spiders (Golden Silk Orb Weaver) found on one of our Florida park adventures. Beautiful but SCARY!!!

Spider web pulled taut

To the struggle of capture

Shroud of death descends
