Discordant Harmony

"Care for a carrot ginger sandwich?" Fluttershy asked the chaos duo. It was another day of tea at her cottage.

Discord grinned. "Oh! You remembered to cut off the crusts for me!" He reached over and grabbed some crust off a plate to eat while Sugar Bliss ate a sandwich.

Fluttershy smiled. "Of course I did. I know how you like them."

"May I have another sugar cube?" The Alicorn asked as she held her teacup with her magic.

Fluttershy looked in the jar next to her but found it empty. "Oh, no. I'm so sorry, but I seem to be out."

Discord's head suddenly popped out of the jar. "Well, I can just pop us in some more." He was about to snap his fingers but Fluttershy stopped him.

"Oh, that's alright. I need to go to the market anyway. I have to restock my pantry for our tea party next week."

Sugar Bliss and Discord paused and glanced at each other. "Oh, we never realized how much work you put into hosting these tea parties." Said the Alicorn.

"Oh, it's really not that much." Fluttershy waved it off.

The draconequus shook his head. "No, no, no, no." He got up to pace. "We've been taking advantage of your hospitality for far to long. It's high time I do something about it." He sat back down to think.

Sugar Bliss's face lit up. "I know! Why don't we host the next tea party at our place?"

Discord beamed happily. "That's a great idea! So, how about it?" He asked the pegasus as he ate a sandwich. He looked at his hand to see that it was dirty from the food, so with a snap of his fingers, a faucet appeared in the air next to him so he could wash his hands off.

"Are you sure?" Fluttershy asked. "I wouldn't want you two to go through any trouble."

"You, trouble? Never!" Sugar Bliss giggled. "I insist!"

"Then count me in! I'm already looking forward to it!"

"Me too!" Said Discord. "I'm so excited; I can't wait! No, really I can't! How about we have the tea party tomorrow afternoon?" He snapped his fingers and a tree suddenly grew next to him. He plucked off a branch to use as a toothpick.

"Sounds good to me!" Fluttershy nodded. "You know, I've never been to your house before."

"Well, that's okay, because we've never hosted a tea party before." Suddenly his head exploded and he shot up. "I've never hosted a tea party before! So much to do!" He turned to the pegasus. "Thank you so much for the tea and nibblies, but we really must be going!" He quickly picked Sugar Bliss up and moved to leave.

Uh, Discord..." Fluttershy stopped him. "Before you go, would you mind helping me tidy up?"

Discord looked around and noticed that the cottage had flooded because the floating faucet was still running water. With a snap of his fingers, everything was fixed. "There you go. Back to normal, just the way you like it. See you tomorrow!"

Discord appeared in the park in Ponyville and put Sugar Bliss down. "Okay," He started. "Since Fluttershy always goes out of her way to host the perfect tea party for us, how do we make our tea party for her even more perfect?"

"It has to be just right!" The Alicorn agreed. "She was our first friend, after all!"

He nodded. "She gave us a chance when no other pony would."

"That's right! She deserves the best of everything!"

"Well~" He drawled out. "I've already sworn to give you the best of everything. Fluttershy will just have to get the best of seconds."
