Sam POV

Early mornings were not my thing but ever since I got back Hannah was at my door everyday after dropping Tyler off at school. She had apparently made it her mission t help me find Joe, she had even named it "operation hot ass".

"So how did it go with checking the Florida phone book?" she asks as I pour us both a coffee

"Do you know how many Joe's are in Florida?" I ask and she shakes her head "hundreds and that's just the ones that are listed, I mean I don't even know if he lives there, he could have been flying there for work"

"Oh my god that's it! his job" Hannah gasps "He said he was in the sports industry right? Maybe he'll be there tonight?"

"Now your grasping a straws" I chuckle "he said it was busy work, he didn't say he travelled, so I'd say there is little to no chance of him being here in Missouri"

"Wait a second, you literally just said he could have been flying to Florida for work" she says "and now your saying he didn't say he travelled, so then your comment is impossible too"

"You know what, I guess anything is possible" I sigh "I just don't see him being there tonight"

"look you've been miserable since you got back" she says "not the jake hurt you kind of miserable but the pining for your man miserable, don't give up we will find him somehow, come on let's go get some lunch"

I loved Hannah's optimism but I just didn't share it, all I had was his first name, a vague idea of his job and where he flew to, how in the hell was I going to find him with literally nothing to go on. Maybe a nice memory was all it was supposed to be, maybe we weren't meant to see each other again.

Joe POV

I should be focusing on my match tonight but my mind is on something else, Sam. When I had found out that this weeks show was in Missouri I was excited, this could be my chance to finally find her, I mean Missouri is a big place but it could happen right?

"Come on uce, it's time to go for lunch" Jey says shaking me from my thoughts "You're thinking about that girl again aren't you?" he asks

"She's all I've thought about since I got back" I sigh "I need to find her"

"Maybe you'll see her while we are out" Jimmy says "anything is possible right?"

"Alright" I sigh getting up off the bed, I had already tried looking in the phone book but there were too many Samantha's I wouldn't have time to ring them all.

The three of us head into the town centre and the whole time I am scanning the crowd looking for the one familiar face, not paying attention I walk straight into Jimmy who for some reason has stopped walking.

"Careful big uce" he laughs "so burgers or seafood?" he asks

"Seafood" I say smiling as I remember the meals I shared with Sam, the way the sun always caught he eyes just right and........"yo uce you need to walk" Jey calls out "we aint carrying your ass to the restaurant"

We get seated at the restaurant and order our food, the waitress brings our drinks, I once again start looking at the crowds of people walking by not wanting to miss her if she happens to walk by, I'm just about to turn and take a sip of my drink when something or someone catches my eye.

"Feisty?" I say quietly before getting up from the table and walking away from my cousins

Sam POV

On the way to get lunch Hannah had decided to quickly duck into a shop to get some things for Tyler, leaving me stood outside alone.

While I wait I glance around at the places to eat trying to decide what I fancy when I see someone making a beeline right for me, a very familiar someone with a big smile on his face.

"Big man?" I say quietly to myself as he gets closer but before I have chance to say anything to him I am wrapped up in his arms and his lips are on mine.

Jey POV?"

"Fiesty?" I say looking at my brother "what the hell does that mean?"

"Beats me" he shrugs "but big uce knocked my drink in my lap and now I have to walk around like I pissed myself" he says making me laugh

"Relax it'll dry, oh hold up you think that's the girl?" I ask as I watch Joe walk up to a woman and kiss her 

"I hope so otherwise he about to get bitched slapped" he chuckles "and I aint going to do a thing to help him"

"Well from what I can see she aint complaining" I smile

Joe POV

When I saw Sam I didn't think I just went straight over to her and kissed her, I did when I had been dying to do since I left her and damn did it feel good.

"Hi" I say breaking the kiss and resting my head against hers "I probably should have said that first"

"Hi big man" she smiles "I can't believe you're here are you real?" she asks touching my face

"I'm real" I smile "listen I'm working tonight but please tell me you are free tomorrow"

"I am absolutely free" she smiles

"Great" I smile taking out my phone and handing it to her "I'm not making the same mistake twice"

We exchange numbers, she gives me her address and we share one last kiss before I head back over to the twins, to say that I was happy I had found her was an understatement, now I just had to work on keeping her.
