Chapter 8: New Friends

-Voxle POV-

I wake up and hear rain outside. Then I felt uncomfortable and realised I was on hard concrete and being covered by a sheet.

I removed it and then saw i wasn't in the pod anymore.

Voxle: "Was I captured?"

I looked around in the room I was in. It looks like a garage but there wasn't a vehicle. Just some shelves and tools.

Voxle: "Definitely not captured. Just found and relocated. If I were captured they could have atleast put something to restrain me."

I found a door and walked towards it. Locked. Same with the big garage door where the vehicles enter and exit.

I could break out using the tools here but that would draw too much attention so I decided to just wait.

I sit back in the corner, put the uncomfortable sheets back on, and turned off my visor but I was still awake so I could still hear what's happening around me.

-Elliott POV-

I was laying in bed. Thinking about what I brought into the garage. Is it a person? Or something completely different?

I decided to get up to check on it. Mom wasn't home so I could bring Jay over and tell him about this thing.

I walk downstairs, it was a pretty early morning so it was dark. I check the clock on the wall. 9:22 am? I walk closer and see the hands of the clock are not moving.

Elliott: "Batteries must be dead"

I go back upstairs to check my phone. It was 5:12 am. While I was checking the time I got a few messages from Jay

Jay [Message]: "Hey you there?"

Jay [M]:"I'm gonna come over later today"

Jay [M]: "I saw you last night, I'm curious"

Elliott [M]: "Man you're up early"

Jay [M]: "Yes I know. It's gonna rain today I think"

Elliott [M]: "So when are you coming over"

Jay [M]: "Riiiiight..."

Jay [M]: "Now"

I hear the doorbell ring downstairs. Didn't expect Jay to be texting me right outside my door so I rushed downstairs to answer it.

Jay: "Can I come in? Clouds getting darker every minute."

Elliott: "Yea sure, Come in."

Jay walks inside my house and I look at the sky. The clouds were getting darker.

Elliott: "Huh it is gonna rain."

Jay: "Told ya"

Jay puts down his bag which I didn't notice until now.

Elliott: "Why did you bring a bag? I Thought this was a short visit."

Jay: "You don't remember our conversation last Friday?"

Elliott: "After you got summer classes?"

Jay: "Yeah. That Friday"

Jay: "I asked if you wanna have a sleepover before my summer class starts."

Elliott: "Oh I remember now, Well my mom is visiting a friend. She'll probably come back after a few days"

Jay: "Anyways."
