Chapter 10: Null

It was dark.

Something falls down to the floor.

???: "We really do need a light down here"

*Snap*

And with a snap of a claw, fire comes out of thin air. Revealing the yellow protogen who caused it, Zyphon.

Zyphon: "Heck we have all these tech and we still don't have a single light source in the basement."

Zyphon was looking for something in the basement. Files of their origin and how they were made. They find a file cabinet and searches it.

Zyphon: "Sure it might be because of budget..."

Zyphon opens a folder, but tosses it as it wasn't what they were looking for.

Zyphon: "But still..."

*Tosses another folder*

Zyphon: "We need damn light down here."

After tossing a few folders and accidentally burning a few they finally found it.

Zyphon: "Hmm. Not much in here but it'll have to do"

Zyphon walks out of the basement but bumps into another box.

Zyphon: "Man I wish I was built with night vision..."

"You have a call."

Zyphon answers it, It was Yuni.

Zyphon: "Hey. You're Voxxie's lil sibling right?"

Yuni [Call]: "Yes. And Voxxie?"

Zyphon: "Its what I call Voxle. I just don't do it in front of them cuz they get a little grumpy when I do."

Zyphon: "Anyways. What's up?"

Yuni [C]: "You have any data on the mission they went on?"

Zyphon: "Yep. In fact, I'm kinda like an assistant to them."

Yuni [C]: "Oh. Well, who was their target?"

Zyphon: "Give me a moment I'm still in the basement."

Zyphon gets out of the basement and heads towards their desk. Most of the things in that area were fireproof, just incase Zyphon overheats.

They open their computer and open a bunch of files.

Zyphon: "No, no, nope, homework?, nope.".

Zyphon: "Ah. Here it is."

Yuni [C]: "Who was it?"

Zyphon: "A dark blue protogen building a cannon that breaks reality. Name wasn't included but pretty sure Voxle knows who they're killing"

Yuni [C]: "Wait... Did you say dark blue?"

Zyphon: "Yes. Don't forget building a cannon that breaks reality."

Yuni [C]: "Dark blue... Do you happen to know where they are?"

Zyphon: "Yea. This planet over here with a fancy looking base."

Yuni [C]: "That's... Xero's base..."

Zyphon: "Who's Xero?"

Yuni [C]: "Me and Voxle's... Older sibling"

Zyphon: "Oh. That got dark real quick.

Yuni [C]: "I don't get it. Why would Xero do something like that?"

Zyphon: "No clue. You heard from Voxle yet?"

Yuni [C]: "I saw their ship but they didn't answer my call."
