Chapter 18: Rift

...

???: "Yeah sure why shouldn't I self insert."

The room had white walls, the floor was made of wood. In the room there was a mirror, a bed, and other things found in a bedroom. Oh and another protogen.

They walked infront of the mirror with a book on their paw and a holographic quill on the other.

They were almost the same as Voxle. No mouth, same colors, same symbol. Except they were wearing a red hoodie and some pajamas... Which was odd.

They look at the mirror as if it was a camera.

???: "It's me, V-"

*Distant Explosion*

???: "perfect timing..."

A red and black protogen bursts in the room, their expression was panicked.

???: "What is it this time Pho?"

Pho: "Vyx! The beast escaped! AGAIN!"

Vyx: "Ughhh that's the... I lost count"

Pho looks at Vyx's paws and saw the book.

Pho: "You're not... Writing our conversation in one of the parts again are you?"

Vyx: "Haha... No?"

Pho: "The beast only attacks when you-"

Vyx: "Yeah yeah I know..."

Pho notices Vyx writing as they speak. They look closer and it was the words they just said.

Pho: "YOU'RE WRITING A SELF INSERT CHAPTER?!"

Vyx: "Congrats. You figured it out Sherlock."

Pho: "Just... Stop the beast already before it tears apart everything."

Vyx: "Relax, I can just make a new interdimensional rift like this easily. No sweat."

Pho: "Of course we can't sweat it's constantly cold in here. Also what if you forget to add something in the new rift? It's just gonna be gone for good."

Vyx: "Fine I'll stop it. Only because I'm getting tired of rewriting rifts."

Vyx outside the room and Pho followed. They-

Pho: "You're really dedicated to get this self insert out huh?"

Vyx: "Yes and please don't interrupt the narrating. It makes the 4th wall sad."

Pho: "The 4th wall doesn't even exist anymore."

Vyx: "Only for this chapter."

The book was orange and had a white W on it. They made it outside and heard screams. Vyx sighed in annoyance as this was almost like a normal thing that always happened. While Pho was scared and worried.

Pho: "This place doesn't even have that much people."

Vyx: "Oh I must have left the screaming sound effect on."

Pho: "Why do you need that?"

Vyx: "I dunno. I was looking for sound effects to add in my music but yeah there's not a lot of good ones."

Pho: "Whatever, let's just get this over with..."

Pho looks down at Vyx's legs and see him still wearing pajamas. They facepalm in disappointment.

Pho: "You could have at least changed."

Vyx: "What? I'm comfy with it."

Pho: "You're... Basically a God here with that book and yet you lack formality."
