Chapter 9: Entity

It was another starry night back in Xero's base. Xero was walking around in circles thinking of what Voxle is doing right now.

Xero: "Should've put like a camera on Voxle. Whatever, I have a solution."

Xero: "Just gotta wait for a while"

Xero gets another call from Yuni. The dark blue protogen answers it.

Xero: "Yeah lil' sibling?"

Yuni [Call]: "Just wanna ask"

Xero: "ask what?"

Yuni [C]: "I kinda wanted to ask Voxle but since they're not available I decided to ask you. Anyways."

Yuni [C]: "Did Voxle always have no chesplate?"

Xero: "Why? You don't like how they look?"

Yuni [C]: "Nonono I'm completely fine with that. I'm just curious."

Xero: "Well yea, Voxle was created without one."

Yuni [C]: "Why is that?"

Xero: "The factory was running low on resources so they had to cut down on the chesplate and made Voxle's visor smaller. Which is why they can't display a mouth and their eyes at the same time."

Yuni [C]: "Huh. Also another question. How are we siblings? Our serial numbers don't even line up."

Xero: "I adopted you and Voxle."

Yuni [C]: "Oh... Well I gotta go now. Say hi to Voxle for me"

Xero: "I will. Bye"

The call ends. Xero sits down and stares at the stars behind the window. Meanwhile two synths enter the room.

Xero: "Is it done?"

Synth 1: "Yes"

Synth 2: "Here it is boss."

The synths bring in a monochromatic protogen. Although it had more metal over flesh and its visor is sharper so its more likely a Primagen.

Xero: "Ah, Finally. You can leave now"

The synths exit the room. Leaving Xero and the Primagen alone in the room.

Xero: "I could've made a normal protogen but metal is harder than flesh and probably less painful."

Xero opens the Primagen's chest cavity. There wasn't any flesh inside nor any organs.

Xero: "Now for the power source."

Xero presses the button and the Reality Cannon comes out. They think of what crystal to use for the Primagen.

Xero: "Hmm. Green should do"

Xero grabs a small piece of the green crystal. The Time crystal. It has the ability to control Time. Speed it up, slow it down, reverse it, and even stop it.

Xero: "This is probably the strongest one besides Purple, which is gravity. And aside from Red. Time to put it in"

Xero walks back to the Primagen and just puts the crystal in then closes its chest.

Xero: "Now for the coding. This is gonna be a while."

-Timeskip because I suck at code-

Xero: "And now to test it"

The Primagen turns on and starts speaking.

Primagen: "Hello, Xero."

It's voice was blank. Showing no feeling or anything.

Xero: "Hello. Ready for some testing?"

The Primagen stands there. No response. Staring blankly at Xero.

Xero: "I'll take that as a yes"

Xero puts on their gauntlets and uses its laser blades to cut the Primagen's arm off.

Xero: "Did that hurt?"

Primagen: "Negative."

Xero: "Of course it won't. You're all machine. Now focus on your arm"

The Primagen looks at it's decapitated arm. They then close their eyes and green sparks start to appear. Time felt like it was slowing down. They open their eyes and see the arm was back on them. Like it was never cut off.

Xero: "Yes! It works."

Primagen: "What worked?"

Xero: "The green crystal powering you has the ability to control time itself. But since it's just a small shard it can only affect you."

Xero: "So you can only reverse time on yourself. Don't worry your memories don't go back too"

The Primagen rips it's hand off. It just goes back in like a magnet.

Primagen: "Does this mean I'm immortal?"

Xero: "Basically."

The Primagen looks outside the window. Wondering what's out there. They were soon interrupted by Xero, standing next to them.

Xero: "Pretty isn't it?"

Primagen: "Affirmative. You have a name correct?"

Xero: "Yes. Why you ask?"

Primagen: "Do I... Have one?"

Xero: "You don't have one."

Primagen: "i don't have a name..."

Xero: "I have a task for you."

Primagen: "what is it?"

Xero: "I need you to go to Earth. And watch over Voxle. If they plan to sabotage me... Stop them but don't kill"

Primagen: "Got it."

The Primagen walks out of the room.

Xero: "Oh and take Voxle's ship. Sure they won't mind."

Xero looks out at the window, Watching the spaceship take off.

Xero: "I should give them a name... Eh maybe not"

Xero looks at the red crystal on the cannon.

Xero: "A mystery soon to be discovered..."

-Yuni POV-

After a call with Xero I decided that I should go to sleep. I look out the window one last time and see Voxle's ship. They must be back from their trip.

I tried calling Voxle.

"Unavailable"

Yuni: "Huh. Maybe they're not in the mood right now..."

I see Clyde walking in and holding a book. Wonder what it is.

Yuni: "Hey hun. What's that about?"

Clyde: "Not much. Just a book about the crystals I just sold to your sibling."

Yuni: "Oh. I know Xero and they probably already know what most of them do."

Clyde: "Yea but there's one crystal I'm not so sure about."

Clyde: "All of the crystals each control a property of reality. All except one."

Yuni: "What is it?"

Clyde opens the book and starts reading.

Clyde: "Let's find out... Sheesh no wonder this book is so heavy. It has a ton of pages."

Yuni: "Think I'll pass"

Clyde: "Aww."

Yuni: "Have fun with your book. I have to do something."
