Chapter 32: Assistance Required

-Voxle POV-

I was getting ready to leave the planet I was stuck on for a few days, which was Earth.

Voxle: "Well, it was nice staying here while it lasted but I have to stop Xero and save the others... Maybe I can visit again when I'm done, I'll never know."

I could hear someone's footsteps entering the room, I then hear a familiar voice call out my name.

Elliott: "Hey uh Voxle, are we really leaving?"

I turn around to look at him, he was wearing a spacesuit.

Voxle: "Yeah, believe it or not. Well we can bring you back home before we leave Earth."

Elliott: "Thanks but I think I'm gonna pass on that, I'm afraid it's just going to raise more questions y'know?"

Voxle: "Mhm, well if you change your mind just let me know, just not when we're too busy."

Something falls in the background, I turn around and saw a helmet roll past us followed by more things falling.

Elliott: "Well, see you later! Gotta help Jay before he breaks anything else."

Elliott runs out of the room. I turn around again to look at the window, there were lots of trees outside. The sight of nature and the sound of nothing was calming. But unfortunately I have to leave. I pushed a button which allowed me to speak through the ship's speakers.

Voxle: "Alright then, Sit tight and buckle up everyone. We're about to leave."

I prepare the ship for take off and buckled the seatbelt.

Voxle: "And off we go."

-Somewhere in the Rift..?-

Vyx was sitting down, meditating. Around him was nothing but a white blank space. He opens his eyes a little and holds a sheathed sword on front of him. Vyx stands up and unsheathes the sword and puts the sheath on his waist.

Vyx: "Testing begin."

He opens up a portal using the sword and brings out a dummy. Vyx held the sword tighter, breathing in and out as he focused.

Everything slowed down, Vyx unleashes several quick slashes at the dummy. He finishes slashing and returns the sword to its sheath. Time goes back to normal and the dummy gets shred into pieces then leaving it all over the ground.

Vyx: "Eh, good enough."

He sits back down again and continues meditating, or he's just sitting down with his eyes closed.

Vyx: "Now where was I?"

-Back to Voxle-

The ship had finally arrived at a station. Voxle steps out of the ship followed by 8Ball, Elliott and Jay.

8Ball: "Mind if I guide you here?"

Voxle: "Sure, go ahead."

8Ball walks towards a door with a keypad next to it. After a few button presses, the door opens. They walked through the short hallway. 8Ball stops in front of a door labeled "Laboratory", they knock on the door and waited for a response. The door opens, revealing a sky blue protogen wearing some kind of... Track suit? Just like 8Ball, they also had 2 sets of ears. But they had a tail with fins, like a shark.

8Ball: "Three of you, meet Quinn. Quinn, meet Voxle, Jay, and Elliott."

They look at Elliott and Jay and put their paw under their visor, thinking.

Quinn: "Are... These guys from Earth? If so I'm surprised. Haven't seen an Earthling before."

The two of them nod, Quinn then looks at Voxle
