Things you need to know:
Text in Italic means thinking or thoughts
Text in -Bold and italic between a hyphen- usually means a time skip or a POV (point of view) change
Characters with a (Parenthesis) next to their name usually mean numbering.
Characters with [Square Parenthesis] mean they're talking through an object.
Text like *This* usually means sounds or an act while a character is talking.
Text like "this" usually means character dialog.
Yeah I dunno.
Edit: Once I finish I'm probably gonna edit the story. Probably just some grammatical fixes, better descriptions, oh and maybe the narrating because i suck at it
This story does not have swears (only light ones like crap, heck, hell, etc), lemons/smut/18+ stuff/what else you call those, gore (but there will be small mentions of blood or just something that acts like blood)

Quick edit: I moved the "Before you start reading" chapter here and decided to delete the original, it was kind of confusing to have this assigned as chapter 1 while technically being the chapter 2 of the book according to wattpad. Also I changed the name of this chapter since if felt a bit unfitting. And maybe a little odd. -----------------------------------------------------------
*Ring ring*
???: "Hello? who is this?"
A Protogen picks up the phone. Their fur was pure white. Their visor glowed a bright light blue hue, Displaying a pixelated face.
During the call the Protogen nervously taps their claws against the table.
???: "Oh, Alright then..." *Hangs up*...
Our Protogen then looks at a closet. It was made of steel, painted a light grey with 2 red stripes going across the closet door.
They open the closet, revealing a bunch of weapons. Mostly guns and knives. They took a laser rifle out of the closet, along with a gauntlet made of metal.

???: "C'mon Voxle, Just one more job to do and this is all over with."
The Protogen, Named Voxle then heads towards the door of their room. They then find themselves in a hallway, the walls were colored grey and the floors were black.
As the Protogen steps out they generate a hologram screen.
Voxle: "BETA, Status?"
The hologram then zooms into a bunch of text, charts, etcetera.
BETA: "All systems in good condition. Ship is ready to launch"
The hologram pad responded.
Voxle: "Good, Set destination to this planet."
Voxle taps on a planet named X-764
BETA: "Destination set."
BETA was an AI created by Voxle. They mostly maintain the ship and execute orders. They also gather data on other planets which is quite useful when exploring.
Voxle: "Zyphon..."
----------------------------------------------------------- A/N: Yeah this was kinda short as I don't have much inspiration nor knowledge about all this space crap.
The next chapters may be way longer than this one since this is just the beginning of course.
This chapter felt rushed and all since I'm starting to run out of free time.
Edit: Haha silly past me, I should definitely rewrite this some time.
