First day.

You arrive at Dagoba beach earlier than you were told, good impression.

You start to put your things down and relax a little.

You hear from behind,

Deku: Fifteen minutes early. You really are the self-improvement type.

You get startled and claw at the floor, moving you across the floor, quickly. You realise who was behind you and relax.

Deku: First lesson, know how to be wary, yet relaxed.

Y/N: What?

Deku: Never let your guard down, however, if you don't relax, you'll never make it. You have the relaxing part, just be wary.

Y/N: Okay.

Deku: That'll be the first thing, every time.

Y/N: Alright. So, are we going to train?

Deku: First, I need a benchmark, that way I know what I'm dealing with.

Y/N: Okay. So...

Deku: Both of you, against me.

Fighting the number one pro hero, as the first day of training, this was going to be a long day.

Deku was much taller than your mother remembered him being, he was roughly six feet tall now, something like that. His daughter, roughly your height.

Y/N: Got a plan?

Isoko: I'll keep him pinned, I move out and you attack with your waves.

Y/N: You're good.

You float away as Deku starts the match. He rushes towards his daughter, hand ready for a flick motion.

Deku: Delaware Smash!

Isoko dodges the gust of wind, and strikes her father in the ribs, causing him to jolt. She moves away and motions for you.

Y/N: Y/N Flood!

You shoot two devastating waves from your hands, hitting Deku square in the chest and sending him back.

Deku: Good teamwork.

I always keep forgetting that these things are faster than Mum's.

Isoko jumps back in, taking a jab from her father before he jumped towards you using his Full Cowl technique.

You meet this leaping punch with your dashing wave attack. You start going back at first but the release of the energy fully stops the wind force generated from the clash.

Deku: Good. Now just work on your focus.

He grabs your leg and throws you into the ground. You crash into the sand with an almighty crash.

You get back up immediately, already you see Deku trading blows with his daughter, who actually can keep up as long as he doesn't pull a trick with his quirk.

She's gonna need gear but other than that, she's almost ready.

You get into position so that Deku completely covers his daughter from your shot and takes it, seeing this, Isoko grabs him, landing a few body shots.

You fire into him with your Single Spiral attack.

Deku: If you have the chance, use one of your most powerful attacks.

He says as the sand dust disappears.

Y/N: It was something that Isoko could take and get back up in a little bit. Your daughter's strong but no-one, so far, comes out of my flood unscathed, unless they dodge it.

Deku: Right then. I see your thinking.

He throws his daughter into you, you duck your head but still cannot stop her abs from landing in your face.

Y/N: You good?

She gets off of you, ready to fight, as you get up, you say,

Y/N: I'll take that as a yes.

He rushes towards you both with his Full Cowl. You duck under his punch at the last second and float up, hitting him with another flood attack.

You leave a small, black crater with Deku inside, curled up into a ball almost.

Y/N: Shit. Did I?

He gets up and chuckles.

Deku: Where's the guy who thought he'd never be like his mother? Wow. Your mood changed fast, you got confidence, power, speed and the ability to think on your feet.

Y/N: So, I imagine the real training starts now.

Deku: Yep. Oh wait.

Y/N: Hmm?

Deku: It took you three minutes to subdue me. That's the benchmark. Every week we'll do that again, and I expect that you'd both show amazing leaps. So, I'll get the equipment for the next section, you two, try to get along.

Y/N: Hey?

Isoko: Hey. Thanks for being my partner in training.

Y/N: All good.

Isoko: Me and my Dad both agreed that if he were to give me One-for-All, that it would be biased towards family. We wanted to give someone else a chance. So, while I want it sure, I wanna work for it, I'm just glad I get to work with you.

Y/N: All good. Thanks for helping me get stronger.

Isoko: You've done well, you don't give yourself enough credit.

Y/N: I gotta be weary of the kinds of quirks I'll find. I mean, dual and mixed quirks are getting more common.

Isoko: It's good to humble yourself, just remember, you are still good.

Y/N: Wait, how do you-?

Isoko: I heard my Dad's comment.

Y/N: Right.

Isoko: You're not gonna be a nobody.

Y/N: I wish we were going to UA together.

Deku comes back with a few training weights, as well as a metal target, a speed bag and a pole.

Deku: Right, so you will have to fire your quirk at the target with these weights on your wrists.

Y/N: All right.

You put the weights on, so does Isoko.

Y/N: What's she doing?

Deku: She's working on her speed.

He connects the speed bag to a pole.

You hold your hands up, aiming at the metal square, you fire. You strike the target dead centre.

Deku: Keep it up until you can't.

You fire another shot into the target, already, you feel the drain of your quirk. After all, two floods, one Single Spiral and a Dashing Wave are quite a lot to do in three minutes. However, you keep the firing up for an hour until you cannot.

Deku throws you a water bottle.

Deku: Take a drink, then forty laps around the beach.

You do so without much trouble, after all, your stamina was trained by the number six hero.

The first day of training, not as brutal as you expected, but enough to improve you.

One month of this? Bring it on.
