3:00am Tartarus prison

A man in a suit and tie walks to the prison gates. The lights shine on his short-haired, almost triangular, serious face.

Guard: Who are you here to see?

???: I am here to see The League of Villains, as well as a few others.

Guard: I'm sorry, but they are unavailable.

???: Are they alive?

Guard: Yes. Most of them. They can't have visitors though.

???: I'm sorry my friend, I'm quite childish, I don't like to take no for an answer. It's a pity, after all, I'd get along so well with Tomura.

Guard: Who are you?

???: Sessuru Gorudo, or you can call me by the name those will remember me for. Midas.

Guard: Now listen here-

Midas: Now tell me, do you have a quirk?

Guard: Doesn't everyone?

Midas: Such a shame. The existence of these vile powers has gone to everyone's heads. I could not imagine the hardships of those termed 'quirkless' it's almost like a disability, a disease.

Guard: What do you want?

Midas: Simple. Revive the work of the Shie Hassaikai, and slowly but surely erase quirks from the world. Men and women and whatever anyone should call themselves may live as equals.

Guard: You're insane.

He pulls his gun up to fire, in that time Midas moves up behind him and presses his five fingers against the guard's back.

Guard: What the?

His back first, turns to a solid metal.

Gold.

Midas flicks the golden statue of the once living man and it falls to the floor. He snaps his fingers and the gold statue crumbles to dust.

Midas: Sorry about that. I didn't want to be shot.

He walks to the gate and grabs it, turning it to gold, then to dust as he snaps his fingers.

He is met with a plethora of guards, all with unique quirks.

Midas: Come at me.

The guards charge at him, the long strides of the eight-foot tall monster of a man carry him first.

Midas: My, my. It seems you are the first to die.

He ducks the punch and touches the man, using his quirk to turn him to gold.

The other guards hear a click and suddenly, their co-worker crumbles to dust before them, revealing the new threat.

Midas: Now then. Let me at the League of Villains, and you'll not end up like him.

The group activate their quirks. One, with electric whips, charges at Midas alongside a user of Super Frost. (Cold hands go brrrr. No ice tho.)

Midas ducks and dodges the electric whips with little difficulty, closing the distance with some initiative from the Super Frost user. He touches the Electric Whip user, turning him to gold.

The Super Frost user has his hands in this of Midas. They push against each other.

Midas: Oh, what is this?

SF user: I'm freezing the essence you need to emit in order for the quirk to work. You can't turn me to gold like this.

Midas backs away from them, holding his hand in his other.

Midas: My, my. I didn't expect that anything less than a hero would put up much of a fight.

Midas runs at the man again, fingers outstretched. He tries to grab his arm to give him sudden frostbite. He fails and his own arm is grabbed.

Midas: I should be careful of you.

The other guards start to waver, yet hold fast.

Midas: You there. Girl. What quirk do you have? They are displayed so vividly on your co-workers.

SE user: Scouting Eye. You get a danger level equivalent to your quirk's raw power. It's dodgy at best.

She says in a cringey, fake Aussie accent.

Midas: Oh is it?

He approaches, more dashes towards the girl and turns her to gold without another word.

The others try to assist yet are met with feet in their face. He kicks them down, hard.

He looks at the keys held by one of the guards.

Midas: I'll be taking those.

He takes the keys and smiles at them with pleasure in his twisted heart.

Midas: How ironic, you are supposed to lock the gates preventing the prisoners from escape and now, will facilitate the escape of every villain in this prison.

He talks to the keys like a madman.

He walks to the main control room, unlocking the door. He is apprehended by many, who are invariably turned to golden statues.

He talks over the P.A system,

Midas: Well, hello there everyone. You can call me Midas. Now, who would like to join me?

A stadium's worth of cheers are heard. He sees their small party through the cameras.

Midas: Thought so. Who can point me to Chizome Akaguro, you might know him as Stain.

Everyone points towards the cell of Stain.

Midas: Now-

Stain: I thank you for releasing me, but I have my own reasons, my own morals, you are either with me or against me.

Midas: I plan to rid the world of quirks, the power has gone to everyone's heads.

Stain: Sounds like we are somewhat aligned. Be warned, I am not the same as you would have heard. I'm much older.

Midas: That is fair. Now, the cell of Kai Chisaki.

The others point towards it, the bars come up, and a handless Overhaul is released.

Midas: You are the only one who knows how to restore your work. Come with me and your old plan shall come to fruition.

Overhaul: I have nothing to offer apart from my work.

Midas: That's all I need. Now that you know what I fight for, who will join me?

A rousing applause and cheers are heard as the rest of the doors open.

Midas: Those two will be my right hand men, the old League of Villains will be just under them, whoever decides to work with me anyway, the rest of you, the foot soldiers.

Cheering is heard from every man and woman, except Tomura Shigaraki.

Midas: With these powerful villains and my wit, there will be no hero who can stop The Uniters of the World.
