Deku sits in the ward with a now restored Shoto.

Deku: I'm glad you're not dead.

Shoto: Yeah. I won't be fighting any time soon though.

Deku: Yeah, it's good that you're safe.

He looks towards Midas, who stands at the door.

Deku: What you did back there was... heroic. Really. You saved a life back there.

Midas: Oh please, I wouldn't have if None For All wasn't a corrupt leader.

Deku: Still, you did. So, what's happening?

Midas: I originally created the Uniters for one purpose, to rid the world of quirks so that all may be equal. You know what that's like, don't you?

Deku: Well, sure. No one is born equal in this world, unfortunately, if I had it my way, everyone would have quirks of equal power.

Midas: I was going to do some good for this world, then he came along with his plans of world domination, which really make no sense. I ended up accepting him for his quirk, it was too good to pass up, big mistake. I guess it wouldn't be a bad thing to team up with heroes for the time being.

Deku: That's the spirit!

Midas: Whatever.

Deku: So, why do you sympathise so much with quirkless people? Considering you haven't been quirkless yourself.

Midas: I have my grandfather's quirk, both of my parents being quirkless. I was quite the surprise when it manifested.

Deku: Right. So I'm guessing that they got treated like the lowest scum in history, much like I did.

Midas: Yes. As soon as I came out to stand up for them, they'd run, knowing my quirk's power. They'd call me a villain, knowing it was a villainous quirk. I realised, I don't remember when, but I did, that, our whole society, the way it treats you, is based on what quirk you get.

Deku: To be honest, that's how it is.

Midas: A mutant quirk would make you shunned by your community, is that not the same as long ago when it happened to those of different skin colour, or preferred a different gender in bed?

Deku: Damn. You really got a point there.

Midas: Your quirk is destructive? Hard to control? Involves blood? You're suddenly a villain. Having superpowers divided us as a people. So why not get rid of them?

Deku: There was once a time where being a superhero was simply fantasy. That was it. When they weren't real. We can't just throw these powers away for the society it created, besides, won't they just find something else to do the same with?

Midas: Sure. I'll be working with you for the time being, but don't think you've convinced me.

The Bakugo residence-

A knock on the door.

Dynamight sighs, getting off his chair, his chest exposed from his recent treatment of the punch in the gut he received not long before.

He looks through the door window, at a safe enough distance for anyone else not to see him.

He sees no one through the window on the top of the door.

He looks through the keyhole, keeping his step silent.

The suit, the menacing grin for only a small stature, the bowler hat said the rest.

He knocks again, completely unaware of Dynamight's presence this close to the door.

NFA: Fine then.

He says, loud enough for someone in any part of the house to hear.

NFA: Guess I'll just have to go after that Kasai kid.

Dynamight: Piece of shit. I know it's a trap but-

He blasts his way out of the door, tackling the short, rather stocky and plump villain.

He brings a hand up, slamming into the villain's head. It impacts with the floor, coming back up to be hit again with an explosion, slamming None For All's head into the pavement again, causing blood to come trickling out of the back.

NFA: All I had to do. Hehe.

Dynamight: I knew it was a trap, but I couldn't let you hurt my son.

None For All smiles and his blackened tendrils reveal themselves again, going inside the pro hero's mouth. He screams in pain, still slamming the villain's head into the pavement.

NFA: I have you now!

The sound of glass shattering plays over and over in the pro's head. Wasn't it ironic? He was now in the place that he had bullied his now best friend for being in so long.

Anger surged through him, the villain reminding him of the days when he was not fit to call himself a hero.

He let out a primal scream as he slammed None For All's head another time. He would not see the light of day tomorrow.

That seething rage must have triggered something, as his sweat still felt... normal, at least what was normal to someone who had used Explosion for all these years.

Another shatter.

Dynamight: He's doing it one gland at a time.

He sparked up, more and more.

NFA: I was beginning to think you would never realise you still had it in some of your glands.

He doesn't reply, or he does, with action. Blasting the villain like a machine gun, the divot in the earth getting deeper and deeper.

Dynamight: Why won't you just die?!

NFA: Don't you get it? Explosion is a pain to remove but my Boost makes it so you can't really hurt me. Really the only one who can is probably Deku or that daughter of his.

Dynamight: Is that a challenge?

NFA: No. I'm getting quite tired of this, it's giving me a major headache.

He punches Dynamight in the gut, sending him up past the roof level.

None For All gets up and follows up with a hook, knocking him out on the way down.

NFA: You tried so hard. I must commend you for it, but you lost, I'm sure you're used to that by now, Katsuki Bakugo.

He starts laughing maniacally as his tendrils once again continue taking his power.

Hour later-

Dynamight wakes up and shakes his head and looks at his hands.

He tries to spark up his hands again, nothing.

Dynamight: Shit. Looks like an early retirement.
