26. Reversing The Past

Eri wakes, her eyes drooping, she sees a face that she recognises all too well.

The plague doctor beak, his coat, with purple fur, what she never expected was his lack of hands.

Eri: Hahaha. Wait. You don't have hands? Where'd you lose 'em?

Overhaul: Shut up! Or I'll do to you what I did before.

Eri: I know as well as anyone that you can only use that quirk of yours if you have hands. You don't scare me anymore. I know I can kick your ass.

Overhaul: Now who taught you those words?

Eri: I'm not twelve anymore, (change in the arc.) I can swear now. Also Katsuki, if you are wondering.

She says, sounding surprisingly mocking towards her abuser, putting her face towards him.

Eri: Whatever. I know someone will come for me soon.

Overhaul: How do you know? This place is a secret.

Eri just smirks, knowing that Aizawa is a bit of a helicopter parent, a pain in the ass to be sure, but at times like these, a welcome one.

None For All and Midas enter the room, along with another.

Midas: So this was the doctor who you went in with?

NFA: Yes. And I think you'll be impressed at what he can do. We'll give ourselves another leg up, and set down the heroes below us.

Midas: What was he given again?

NFA: The Forced Quirk Activation quirk.

Midas: What'll we use it for?

NFA: Get Overhaul his namesake back.

Overhaul: Wait. How?

NFA: He will forcibly activate Eri's quirk and reverse your arms to when they were healthy.

Doctor: I'll need the cuffs removed.

Eri: Shit.

Her eyes widen, her memories coming back to her, experimented with, made to follow him by force and his threats, all came back.

She is restrained by two buff men, one on each arm. She struggles to no avail, Midas removes the cuffs.

Midas: Right.

He forces Eri's arm onto Overhaul's elbow.

Eri smirks. The doctor activates Eri's quirk and slowly, a yellow aura flushes them and slowly, Overhaul's arm grows back, the whole elbow regenerates, bringing a grin to Overhaul, seen only in his eyes. Next, his forearm, little by painful little, it regenerates fully. He starts to almost jump as his palms come back to him. His fingers come back, after being lost for fifteen years. Overhaul lets out a cheer for his hands.

Eri smirks again, suddenly she picks up the speed as she uses her quirk of her own accord.

Overhaul is turned into the body of a ten-year old before the cuffs are placed on her once again.

Eri: Damnit!

Overhaul looks at his hands, smaller than he remembers, he breathes a sigh of relief as they are finally on his arms. He notices his voice is higher than normal.

He looks to Midas, he sees a taller man than he remembers, he looks to None For All, swearing he was the taller one out of the two.

NFA: Damnit woman!

Eri laughs with more joy than she should.

NFA: I ought to take your quirk right now! In fact, I could, Overhaul has his hands and his quirk back, considering he's regressed to ten or thereabouts.

Eri: That's right, so you the new All For One, or something?

NFA: Not precisely, a branching quirk if you will, just like One For All. My quirk allows me to delete quirks of others, it's name? None For All.

Eri: Wow, how original.

NFA: Damn you!

Eri: Thanks for talking, I needed to stall.

NFA: What?

Suddenly, the door bursts open to the prison-cell like building, and every hero in the top ten, as well as Suru for some reason burst in.

NFA: This isn't the time. Kurogiri, out of here.

Kurogiri engulfs all the villains in his smoke-like body.

Another undisclosed location

NFA: Incompetent fool! I meant along with Eri too! I never deleted her quirk and now we don't have her.

Original base

The group frees Eri from her cuffs, and mutter amongst themselves for a second or two.

Mt. Lady: It's decided. You'll have Nejire here protect you constantly. She'll have to be at UA with you, train with you if you need. You should get along just fine.

Nejire: Wait. So I get to see Y/N the whole time? Do I get to meet his girlfriend? Eri, you wanna hang out with Y/N for a little bit? I feel like you'd get along. Would you? I wonder.

Eri: Nejire. I've met him. He's a nice guy, I could do that but, he's on internship at the moment.

Nejire: Damnit. I wanted to see him again.

Undisclosed location

NFA: Akaguro. I want you to find Eri and bring her back, your quirk will be perfect, paralysing her while Kurogiri makes up for his mistake.

Stain: Why me? Getting the girl would be of no use. We can just go around, having you delete quirks, she can't possibly reverse people back as fast as you can delete them.

NFA: Just do it.

Stain: So, using your power to get things your way. Huh? I'm not liking the new leadership. I'm out.

NFA: Fine then. A parting gift, if you will.

A black energy surrounds None For All, not even with the red outsides that All For One had, pure darkness. The energy inserts itself into Stain, through his mouth. He screams in agony, a shattering glass sound is heard, signifying that his quirk was gone. Deleted, never to be seen again.

NFA: Go on then, go, don't try to come back.

Stain: I didn't even need the damn thing anyway.

He leaps away, also never to be seen again.

Midas: He was a powerful member, he could have done so much.

NFA: You don't make the rules anymore, Midas, I'm the one who gets the world after this. I would love to see you at my side. If not, you can hand yours over too.

Midas: No. You're right. We never needed Stain.

NFA: We'll have to figure out how we get Eri.

Overhaul: I have someone, the one who told me that Eri was going to USJ alone.

NFA: The name?

Overhaul: Souta Kaneko.

NFA: Ah yes, Hive's son. What caused him to turn to us?

Overhaul: Shigaraki still tries to work this like his old League. He appealed to the man whose father, a pro hero no less, left him with the Kaneko family. Shigaraki found him, he made out that he was his only comfort when his family weren't even family.

NFA: Does he know about Hive?

Overhaul: No. Though, he's smart. He'll figure it out.
