Pt. 8 Raid on Two

Old League of Villains base.

Shoto, Hawks, Mt. Lady, Dynamight and Hive arrive at the old League of Villains base.

Hive: This is the place, I guess.

The heroes see one man come out, assault rifle in hand.

Shoto: Even if it's not related to Midas, there's definitely something going on.

Hive: I'll deal with him.

Hive steps out of the bush and casually walks towards the villain.

Villain: What are you doing?

Hive: Relax. I've lost my way. Could you help me?

Villain: I don't have the ti-

The villain stops, and looks at Hive with a dead expression.

Hive: Good. Now, open the door and throw a grenade in there, if you have one.

The villain grabs a grenade and opens the door, throwing it in. Screams are heard from inside, the heroes start their assault.

Dynamight rushes in first, blowing up five men.

The rest of the heroes run in to find nothing, they walk into another room, the bar that most have only seen once before. All except Dynamight, only in photos.

Dynamight: It's a bit more run down than when I last saw it.

Mt. Lady: That was fifteen years ago.

Dynamight: Just over.

They search the building, no stone unturned, finding only gold dust and a messy whiteboard as evidence of Midas ever coming to this place.

Dynamight: Looks like they did go to the Shie Hassaikai base. We gotta get there.

Shoto gets a message.

Shoto: From Deku, they found nothing, apart from a bit of evidence that Midas was indeed there.

Dynamight: They must have planned it here, went to the Hassaikai base and got what they came for. They could be back, or have another base.

Hawks: Well, I'll let you do the honours. Come on, let's get out.

Dynamight nods at Hawks and once everyone is out, blows the building into a crumbling pile.

Hive: Nice one.

Dynamight: You know it.

Hive scoffs and rolls his eyes.

Dynamight: Hey, you know it! I'm the best.

Hive: Second best.

Dynamight: I'll beat that damn ner-

Dynamight falls silent.

Hive: Someone had to shut him up.

Meanwhile, undisclosed location.

Midas: Damnit!

Overhaul: I'm sorry, we could not find anything. It seems when we were defeated all that time ago, they destroyed our work.

Midas: It seems we must start from square one. How did you start?

Overhaul: We used a girl with a quirk to reverse anything to a previous state. However, she would be a third year at UA. Not the child I worked with. She'd be much more proficient with her quirk and could easily fight any of us.

Midas: It is fine. Is there anyone else that has the same quirk, that you know of?

Overhaul: No, my Lord. I do believe her quirk was unique at the time. We'd have to wait until she has a child, or something like that.
