Pt. 22 None-For-All

Undisclosed location.

Shigaraki: What are we doing? We must do something.

Midas: Patience. We must wait for an opportunity to present itself.

He says as he takes a sip of whiskey from a wine glass. Kurogiri looks away. (Idk if he dies or not, I know the *spoiler* but let's just say he didn't.)

Shigaraki: This is bull! I'll make a damn opportunity.

Midas: Overhaul's attack was not nothing.

He holds a piece of paper between his fingers.

Midas: You know what this is?

Shigaraki: No. What?

Midas: The third year curriculum for UA high. Overhaul got this during his attack. I say he, but, he led the attack, so I credit him. Someone with hands probably got it.

Overhaul crosses his eyebrows at the remark.

They hear a knock on the door.

Midas: Scatter.

The villains hide. He opens the door.

A mysterious man approaches Midas, quite a short man, in formal dress.

???: Midas, was it? You sure are the character, aren't you?

Midas: Who are you? What are you here for?

???: Simply to offer my services. I could make that Overhaul man, how do you say, useless.

Midas: How so? You intrigue me.

???: Don't ask how I know, but I know of your goal. To rid the world of quirks. I agree, they've gotten to people's heads. Made them cocky. Luckily, my own quirk remedies that.

Midas: What is it?

???: None-For-All.

Midas: So, you are None-For-All then. What does it do?

NFA: As the name implies, it deletes the target's quirk, never to be seen again.

Midas: That is a tempting offer, however, I know that without Overhaul, we'll not take their only way of getting them back. I still need him, however, name your price.

NFA: I rule the world, once all is done.

Midas: I never needed such frivolous things, I want to see the quirkless righted.

Kurogiri: Boss. There's something you gotta see.

He looks in, to see the TV turned on.

Midas: The UA sports festival. What of it?

Kurogiri: Look who won.

He sees the medal thrown around Taiyo's neck, looking down on you, Hoshiko and Kasai, as if you're all beneath him.

Midas: So what?

Kurogiri: He is the strongest at UA. I think you could connect to him. He's quirkless.

Midas: Quirkless you say? Oh this is my best day. I have two new people in the Uniters. One who can delete quirks. Another who is truly quirkless, he will be a great asset.

NFA: So it's a deal?

Midas takes his hand, leaving his thumb up.

Midas: Now then, how did your quirk come to be? It is not natural, I know that.

NFA: You have me. It was born of the same event as One For All. The inadvertent creation of One For All from All For One created also a darker quirk, All For One was a neutral ground between them. One For All gave power to others, All For One stole the power, None For All wipes the power from existence. Think of it like a child's toy, one gives, one steals and one snaps it into pieces before your eyes.

Midas: How did you get it?

NFA: Problem with None For All is that it doesn't give you the boosts like the other that sprung from it. So, the user before me had it stolen by All For One, just before he was locked up for life. I had come in to help the doctor, he must have seen something in me, and gave me the power of None For All.

Midas: Why wouldn't he give you everything else?

NFA: He can't pass on the All For One quirk, I guess, so without it, (AFO actually didn't think him worthy.) I would have died, he gave me the next best thing. However, I did have a quirk beforehand, called Boost. It's nothing much, it would be nothing against a One For All user.

Midas: Right.

NFA: Now then, I should make myself comfortable, I guess.

Midas: You should, consider yourself a top lieutenant of mine.

NFA: Once I give you the means, you hand it to me. Now, let me ask you a question. Would you hand over your own quirk to achieve your goal?

Midas: Without a second thought.

NFA: Now then boss, what's the plan?

Midas: Kidnap Eri Aizawa and remove her quirk from the equation completely, she can't give anyone else their quirk back afterwards. We can let her go afterwards. We'd have no need of her, unless someone spills our plans to her, then I'd have to kill her.

NFA: You got it.

The Midoryia house

Deku is sitting at his desk, trying to figure out the Uniters' next move.

Deku: Damn it!

???: Young Midoryia. I've felt a great threat, one I forgot to tell you about, all these years.

Deku: All Might?

All Might: Yes. The new villains you're dealing with have just aligned with another threat.

Deku: Who?

All Might: None For All. He has the ability to delete quirks, erase them from existence.

Deku: What? Will it work for One for All too?

All Might: I don't know. I'll tell you the story. It was born from the same incident within All For One that caused One For All to appear. None For All represented the darkness that shadowed our light. All For One as the middle ground. I'm sorry I forgot to tell you.

Deku: It wasn't a threat before, why now?

All Might: It manifested in many that had no clue what to do with the power. All For One eventually stole it, but was imprisoned the day after, where he later died. He must have been able to give it to someone who would use it for what it's for.

Deku: All right, I'll be careful.

All Might: Thank you, young Midoryia.

Ochaco comes in.

Ochaco: Who were you talking to?

Deku: Oh, just talking to All Might through One For All.

Ochaco: Really?

Deku: 'Chaco, you know I can do this.

Ochaco: I don't remember.

Deku: It's fine, the kids got you running around.

He pushes back her hair, only now noticing her eye bags.

Deku: How about I take the night shift?

She falls to her knees, then her head, into Deku's chest. He starts to rub her head as she starts sleeping.
