Pt. 21 The Finals

You were set against Taiyo Makihara, the quirkless prodigy that defeated every opponent with a vicious scowl on his face. His expression, always cold and blank.

The face was quite unnerving, his spinning baton, a menace. To be frank, the beast of a man intimidated you. You felt small, like an insignificant bug, despite being at least three inches taller and a few more wider.

Ibara: Start!

You immediately started with flight, and a Wide Cone Flood, which hit the entire arena.

No way he could dodge that.

You see a shadow rise from the smoke, you didn't hesitate to hit him with another, narrower blast.

He dodged the attack with graceful efficiency, slamming the back of your head with his baton. You go down, like a failing aircraft about to crash.

It wasn't like he had the greatest power out of anyone you'd seen or felt, however, he definitely hit harder than your remember Isoko for.

You crashed into the floor and rolled out of the way of his punch. He cracked the concrete, being quirkless however, his hand still bled.

You saw your moment to hit him with a Flood, you smile, already knowing the outcome.

You didn't know shit.

As the smoke from the attack cleared, you felt a sharp pain to the back of your neck. You lost consciousness.

Taiyo Makihara won.

(Y/N Hado be like, I fear no man, but that thing, *Quirkless opponents* it scares me. Lol)

Hoshiko Chisaki vs Kasai Bakugo

Hoshiko stepped up, looking like she had already won.

She's got a plan. That's my baby.

Kasai: Alright, what's with the smug face?

Hoshiko: Nothing.

Ibara: Start!

He uses his father's signature move, the explosion boosted right hook. Hoshiko simply dodged the attack, using her glitch.

Hoshiko: Over here.

She says, leaning on an imaginary pillar.

He sends multiple explosions her way, all dodged by your unofficial wife.

She glitches in, delivering a knee to Kasai's face. On the way up, she punches him fourteen times, before using an elbow to send him down.

She comes down for a follow up strike. Kasai blasts her away at the last second.

Dynamight: That's my boy. You're doing great kiddo.

He's probably proud of him not backing down.

Hoshiko overpowered Kasai eventually, in the end, in a ring out.

Kasai held his head lowly.

Y/N: Kasai, what's up?

Kasai: Fourth place. That's what. I didn't even pose a challenge to the girl. She practically brushed me aside.

Y/N: So what? You did the best you could.

Kasai: That's the thing, how am I ever going to be better than my Dad if I got fourth where he won?

Y/N: You don't have to be better.

Kasai: How am I going to face the villains of tomorrow when I can't outperform my dad?

Katsuki hears this, his mouth agape at his teachings being regurgitated.
