Pt. 36 The Exam's Finale

(It was honestly a pain to write this section because I kinda wanted to continue the actual story but, yeah, this is around the time.)

Kaito Asui and Hoshiko Chisaki vs Deku

The arena changes to an urban environment.

Deku cracks his knuckles in clear view of the other two. Kaito starts to fill his pack with his acidic saliva, so as to shoot it from his hands instead.

Deku dashed towards the duo, Hoshiko teleports behind him and kicks the back of his head, sending him flying into Kaito with no attack leading.

Kaito kicks Deku's face, sending him back into Hoshiko, who glitches behind as Deku comes past, sending him towards the exit.

Hoshiko: We held him off. C'mon, let's go.

She puts her hand on Kaito's shoulder and glitches to the just before the exit.

Before she can glitch again, Deku appears before her, with a 5% Delaware Smash

He flicks the villain's daughter and the hero's son.

Deku: Did you really think that was going to work?

Deku! That's my girl, I'll fu-

Taiyo: What'd I say?

Get the fuck out of my head. You're fucking dead.

Hoshiko glitches into him with a gut punch, enough to send Deku reeling for a second. Enough for Kaito to land a kick. Deku is sent backwards, sliding across the tarmac.

As Deku finishes sliding, Hoshiko glitches behind him, hitting him with her 'zip force' (what you are hit with when you're in between Hoshiko and her target location.) and kicks him in the back as the zip force pushes him into it.

Kaito kicks him back. She glitches into the air, bringing down a dropping spear kick like Isoko.

Deku coughs up his saliva, she jumps off, running to the exit with Kaito.

Deku uses his Full Cowl to catch up and stops them with another Delaware Smash.

Y/N: Isoko is going to be so OP when I next see her.

The smoke clears, only Kaito was knocked back.

Hoshiko appears from behind and kicks Deku in the back. She runs to Kaito.

Hoshiko: Come on.

Kaito stands, she grasps his shoulder and glitches to the exit, with Deku only a millisecond too late.

Hoshiko: We won!

Kaito: That was all you.

Hoshiko: Hey, you did well too.

They return to the upper level. Hoshiko's arm, immediately going around you.

You see Kaito talking to his sister.

Kaito: She's clingy as fuck.

Kana: So?

Kaito: It's not good for him.

Kana: He chose to deal with her and her past. I think it's noble.

Kaito: What happens on a bad day, huh? He's made a bad choice. He's going to get hurt in the long run.

Kana: I can see you're looking out for him. That's good. Just let him do whatever.

You hear Kaito grunt, not hearing the conversation.

Y/N: What is it? Kaito.

Kaito: It's fine.

Should check up on him.
