- -I don't know your number is unavailable That was all Harry heard as he picked up his phone to call Lucy. In comparison to Lucy Harry wasn't prepared to stop. He called again Ring Ring Ring Hello? She muttered from the other side of the line Luc, can we speak? He asked her reluctantly Yeah sure "I uh where are you?" I -I m on 5th street "What now?" He asked concerned Erm yeah, she said "I'm coming stay where you are be careful," he said as he put the phone down and ran towards 5th street.
Luc sat there shivering as the cold winter air brushed against her body freely moving her hair. She tucked her hands into her coat pockets as she waited for him on the corner.
While harry ran fast. He didn't want her wandering the streets at this time it wasn't exactly safe he knew lucy took walks to clear her head she always had she enjoyed the midnight air with empty streets and faint lights of London. He ran around the corner to see Lucy stood against the wall out of breath he walked up to her slowly she still hadn't noticed him.
"hi," he muttered quietly causing her to turn startled.
"hey," she replied as the two began walking on their way to lucy's apartment. There were no words spoken as they walked on.
"Luc come on we can't just forget about it" he huffed as he stood still
" I don't know what you want me to say" she replied
"something anything I just need to know what your feeling right now"
"harry you've got a girlfriend we can't do this," she said as she walked away from him
"I don't anymore okay," he said grabbing her arm and pulling her back
"so what do you suggest we do huh leave it forget about it go back to how we were or become something and then break up and divide our friendship group and then I'd lose you all together and you know more than anyone else that I fucking can't lose you it'll break me"
"it'll break you? think about me in this too Lucy because I don't want to become total strangers and forget anything ever happened"
"so what do you want to do then," she said
"I don't fucking know" he huffed
"come on it's late let's just go back to mine yeah" she smiled as they continued walking in silence to lucy's apartment. They finally arrived kicking their shoes off at the door. Lucy threw her coat onto the rack and went into the kitchen.
"you want a hot chocolate?" she asked as she started pulling the ingredients out
"I uh sure" he mumbled as he stood loosely in her apartment unaware of where to place himself or anything it was like they'd just met. He sat awkwardly on the sofa putting the tv on and putting 13 reasons on as Lucy came in two hot chocolates in hand giving him one before sitting beside him. He put his arm around her as she leaned into him and they watched the show. "So you remember when you let me sleep in your room when we were just about to go on holiday and you made me start watching 13 reasons" he said breaking the silence "I loved Mykonos that was my fav holiday do you remember that geordie girl who wanted to suck your dick" she smiled look up at him "Mhm and I had to pretend you were my girlfriend" he laughed "What happened Harry eveything was going well then owen came along and my life's fucked it I just wanna be how it was" she said her eyes tearing up as she refused to look at Harry "I don't know luc it's too much" "Mhm" she agreed "What do you say we do?" He said "Shall we just see what happens" she said looking up at him "Yeah" he agreed
