Chapter 26

I sighed heavy and fix myself before knocking at Lawson's room. Hindi na ako nagabalang pagbuksan niya pa 'ko ng pinto ako na mismo ang nagbukas no'n.

Tumabingi ang ulo nang hindi makita si Lawson sa kahit anong parte ng kwarto. I clearly saw Lawson get in here before I talked to Haru.

Speaking of Haru, I've talked to him about he have said earlier. At first, he didn't let his guard down and keep spitting nonsense just to depende himself, to make himself the right one and make me the wrong one. But, my anger issue doesn't allow that.

I punched his face.

Isang beses lang naman eh, kaso nga lang dumugo ang ilong. At eto pa, hindi siya nahimatay sa suntok kundi sa dugong lumabas sa ilong niya. Darn it. Nalaman ko lang kay God na may phobia sa dugo si Haru when he immediately came and carry Haru to his room.

I'll apologize to him tomorrow, damn this bad temper I have and also he's badmouthing Lawson, I won't allow that!

"Are you done talking to Haru?"

I jump scared of the sudden presence of Lawson, he's now sitting at the side of the bed.  Kunot noong lumapit sa kanya at tumabi. "Teka ako muna magtatanong." Bahagyang ngumuso ito at tumango din. "Nakita kitang pumasok dito bago ako makipagusap kay Haru, pero bakit hindi kita nakita dito kanina?"  Napapitik ako ng daliri nang maalala na hindi lang ito ang unang beses. Sinapo ko ang magkabilang pisngi niya na kinalaki ng mata niya. "Tell me honestly, I'm not hallucinating or something right?"

Napatitig siya sa'kin. "I won't tell you, you're just hallucinating."

Napatanga ako. It's not sounded like he's telling a joke, it's a serious one.

I scoffs. "Stop lying to me!"

My eyes widened when I realized what I've shouted in front of his face. I panickly let go of his cheeks and take a bit space for the two of us. "I...I didn't mean to shout...I...I just want to know..." napayuko ako

Naramdaman ko ang paggalaw nito, sa pagyuko nakita ko ang kamay nito na hahawakan ang magkabilang kamay ko.

Hindi naman niya ako sasaktan diba? He's not out of his mind, he won't turn into psychopath. He's taking his meds on time and he has me.

But I sigh in relief when he only held my hand and tilt my head to have an eye to eye contact to him. "I'm really thankful to have you here at my side, really I am." He pointed his eyes. "Just...just don't mind my emotionless eyes." He smile a bit and place his hand to mine. "If I've learned how to sincerely like you and be mine, i'll tell you everything. I promise."

I was stunned. "Y-You want me to be yours?"

He didn't hesitate to nod. "Why I wouldn't? It's pretty obvious that I'm only into you. My obsession."

Bakit imbis na macreepy-han ako sa word na obsession ay kinilig pa 'ko? Ganto ko ba siya kagusto?

I shake off my thoughts. "Talaga?" Pigil ngiting tanong ko.

He pinched my nose. "Talagang talaga."

I scoffs as I stood up. I use my hands like a paper due to my cheeks, it's gone red!

"Gaano ba karami ang sikreto mo? Para naman ma-ready ko ang sarili ko."

Mahirap na, baka anak pala siya ng mafia. Pero kung gano'n din naman, okay lang! I can be the son of the mafia girlfriend. Oh shit, it's suit on me!

"Can you promise me one thing?" Dahil sa tanong na 'yon, napaharap ako sa kanya. He sounded like hopingly for my answer. He held my hands and stare throughly at my eyes.

Hindi ako nagalinlangan tumango.

"Don't leave me no matter what secret you will know about me. Can you promise that?"

Is he manipulating me again?

"If you thinking that I might manipulate you, I wouldn't...I just want you not to leave me, you're the only one I have."

I bit my lower lip and give my sincere nod. "I won't leave you."

I almost scream when he pull me to his bed, he happily snake his arms onto my waist and hug me tightly on my side. "Thank you!" Siniksik niya ang ulo niya sa aking leeg.

Napailing ako sa kanyang inakto. Marahan na hinampas ang kanyang tyan, tumatawang dumaing ito. "You and your acts, wait until I reached my legal age."

"I don't do what that scumbags does to you, I'm only hugging you."

I scoffs when he brought that up. "Stop bringing up those scumbags."

"Do you remember the day I've said that I killed those two?"

Mabilis na kumurap ang mata, napaupo tuloy ako. Nanatili siyang nakahiga at nakatingin sa'kin. "You fucking what?"

He sighed. "Of course you won't remember that, I inject something make you forget that."

I was dumbfounded looking at him. "You inject something on me? You're kidding..."

He didn't hesitate to shook his head. "I did that for your own good too."

"Or for your own good?"

Alright. He's now out of line. I can't help myself.

He was taken back, paniguradong hindi niya inasahan na ganto ang magiging reaksyon ko. "It's for you, not for me Savannah..."

Napangisi ako. "It's obviously for your own good not to me." Mariin na sabi ko. Napaupo ito katulad sa'kin. He tried to held my hand but I quickly stood up just to avoid any skin contact, he know that I like him and easily to be pleased with the simple things.

But not today, Lawson.

"No...no...let me explain it to you Savannah..."

I firmly shook my head. "No, I won't listen to you for now." I walked to his room's door. "Sa may living area na lang ako matutulog, bukas nalang tayo magusap, Lawson..."

I gasped silently as my heart pound fastly when I felt him hugging me from the back. "You promise me not to leave me...this is the first secret I have but you easily gave up." I can feel his weakness. I stayed still even so my body is heating up now.

I stayed firm. "Who said i'd leave you?" Ramdam ko na natigilan siya mula sa likuran ko. "Ang sabi ko, bukas nalang tayo maguusap at doon ako sa baba matutulog. I'm just spacing myself from you, freaking stupid!"

Sinandal nito ang ulo niya sa balikat ko. "But...you can have your own space here. Huwag kana sa baba, please?"

This man!!!!

"Hindi tatalab, sa baba padin ako matutulog." I tried to touch the door knob but he got my hand. "Lawson naman!" Iritableng ani ko

"You'll let me explain everything about that tomorrow?" I can sense his hope.

I sighed. "Oo nga. Tyaka hindi ako papayag na hindi mo talaga sasabihin 'yon. You're out of line now so I deserve a space away from you."

Humiwalay ito sa yakap pero agad din nakabalik sa likuran ko. Hinarap ko siya nagtaas ang kilay ko na may yakap siyang unan at comforter.

"I'll sleep downstairs then,"

I stilled. "You'll sleep downstairs?" He nod. "Ako nga matutulog do'n!"

Umiling siya. "No, you deserve a space from me but you more deserve a comfortable sleep. Ako na sa baba, tapos bukas pagusapan natin ang kasalanan ko sayo. Okay ba?"

Pakunwaring masungit ako at tinalikuran siya. "Ha! Anong akala mo mag-offer akong magstay ka dito sa kwarto? Hala, sige matulog ka sa baba!"

I heard him chuckled as the door open. "We'll talk tomorrow, goodnight Savannah."

A disbelief look I throw to door that now closed. He really sleep downstairs?!
