"Nurse Sav, are you gonna continue the story you were telling me about last time?"

Isang tipid na ngiti ang kumurba sa labi nang natapos ko na ang pagtahi ng kanyang sugat dahil sa pagbibike kaya niya nakuha ang medyo kalakihan na hiwa sa tuhod. Actually, this isn't the first time seeing Lia it's the the fifth time meeting her, she always got in little accident due to her bike. I always remind her not to come again because i'm worried of her being here.

Umayos ako ng upo para makita din ang mukha niyang napacute, napakainosente din ng mukha niya. She placed her hands to her lap and make her eyes twinkle to act cute to me.

I chuckled to her cuteness. "You still remember that story?" To her age, I thought she'll forget that easily.

She nod cutely. "Of course I remember!" She giggled excitingly. "What happened when the princess birthday came? Did her prince came with a big gift for her?!"

And just like that, my genuine smile changed into sad smile. It's still clear for me.

I stared at Lia who's excitingly waiting and expecting for a happy ending.

I'm sorry Lia, not all things you wanted is willing to be like that.

"Of course her prince came, princess is the happiest when he came."

Lia and I was startled when someone talked behind the curtain of Lia's bed. I gaze fastly at the curtain widely opened, a relief smile formed when I saw Koufox looked tired but still smilling at us.

Lia leaned onto my ear to say something. "He's handsome, can I be her daughter?" Sabi nito na akala niya ako lang ang makakarinig

Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa ni Koufox, ako'y natawa ng mahina habang si Koufox ay napasentido.

Koufox squat beside me, he messed Lia's hair make Lia annoyed. "You're already my daughter baby girl. Stop saying that I'm handsome just to make me not mad what are you right now." He tsked when he glance at Lia's knee. "Look oh, you got wounds again."

I slide my chair backward and stood up just to gave them privacy as daughter and father, thankfully they didn't notice that I already left.

Pumunta ako sa nurse station at naubutan kong magisa ang isa kapwa intern ko, mukhang stress na 'to sa ginagawa niya. Nangalumbaba ako sa tapat niya pero ang kanyang atensyon ay nandoon pa din sa computer.

"What are you stressing out, Kent?" As a concerned intern friend, I asked.

He groaned sounded tired and irritated. I finally got his attention, he mimicked my standing position also my hand supporting my face.

Darn it. Mimicked.

"Gusto ko naman maging mabuting mamamayan ng pilipinas pero hindi naman ata patas na nasa cafeteria na si Queen at Hellian habang ako naulanan ng paper works." Napairap ito sa inis kasabay ng pagdabog ng paa niya. "I hate that two, puro nalang cafeteria. Kaya nga sila nandito para matuto tangina kabusugan lang nakukuha dito eh."

My laugh bursed out, this man is really funny when he's irritated. "I can help you naman sa paper works, para hindi kana mastress dyan." I offered without hesitation

Napangiwi ako ng pitikin nito ang noo ko. "Naka-assign ka sa ER mula kaninang umaga hanggang ngayon, magpahinga ka naman!" Palinga-linga ito sa kanan, doon kase ang patungo papuntang cafeteria. "Mga anak talaga ni satanas 'yong dalawa na 'yon, 20 mins na nakalipas wala pa din ang mga hinayupak." Naiirita na talaga ito sa kasamahan namin kaya hindi ko na nagawang tumawa pa

Hindi lang naman siya ang naiinis dito, pati na din ako. Magkaiba lang kami magalit. Siya kasi parang dragon at ibubuga lahat ng galit at sama ng loob niya habang ako ay binabawian sila sa mga gawain na hindi sila makakatanggi.
