Liam and I walked to his car side by side. It reminded me of when we walked back from the coffee shoppe or the time he walked me to my class. We made fun of each other and laughed about nonsense things. Those were good times. Now, we just walk silently, not telling any jokes, not poking at each other, not laughing. It felt uncomfortable to me, but Liam didn't seem to mind at all.

We made it to his car and climbed in. He ignited the engine and we drove off. The car ride was again, silent, but I didn't mind this time. He reached up to turn on the radio, quietly playing some songs that he knew well. He would sing along to them beautifully. I would compliment him on how beautiful his voice sounded, but I didn't want to risk him stopping. I just listened to him silently.

We finally arrived at his house and I noticed how charming his house looked. It was a small, grey house with three white windows in the front with black shutters on either side of each window. A different variety of bushes lined the front walls of the house. The bushes were wilting, leaving most of each bush bare. Most of the dried up leaves had blown off the bushes with the wind, making their way weightlessly across the yard and into the road. Given it being almost the end of October, it wasn't surprising that the bushes were nearly bare. I admired the elegance of the house and thought it was a really beautiful home with a lot of character.

Liam and I stepped out of his car and made our way up the stone sidewalk. I heard the front door open, followed by the pitter-patter of bare feet on the front porch, "Oh good! You're home, Liam," I heard a familiar female voice say. I don't think she realized I was here because I was standing right behind Liam, "I need your help with," she started to say when Liam moved out from in front of me.

When Brynn saw me, she stopped in her tracks, "What is she doing here?" she asked with a scowl on her face.

"She wants to talk to you again, Brynn." Liam stated simply. I started to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome here, but I honestly couldn't blame her for feeling that way towards me, given everything that I've done to her.

"Well, I really don't want to talk about it anymore." she said, folding her arms over her chest and pouting like a little child.

"Brynn please. Just one more time? I promise it will be the last time you will ever have to talk about it to us." Liam begged, hoping she would give in, and luckily, she did.

"Alright, but this is the absolute last time I'm going to talk about this, so you guys better pay close attention." she said and turned on her heels to go inside. I followed behind Liam into his house. He shut the front door behind us and lead me into the living room where Brynn was sitting. We both sat down on the couch next to each other and stared silently at Brynn.

"Okay Brynn. Tell Julina exactly what happened." Liam said gently.

Brynn looked down and took a few deep breaths before speaking, "It all started when Harry invited me to one of his parties, and of course, I said yes...

I ran into Liam's room with two dresses in hand, "Liam, which one should I wear?" I asked him, waving the two dresses in his face.

Liam rolled his eyes and waved his hand at me angrily, "I don't care what dress you wear Brynn. Stop bothering me." Liam said, picking out different outfits to put in his bag.
