Horrifying Bubbles

**Chapter 07**

Niall lightly drummed his fingers on the granite counter top of the island, impatiently waiting for our guests to arrive. I was lying upside down on the couch, gripping my phone tightly as I texted a very worried Analeigh. They had gotten lost about four times now, but they were now on the right path heading in the right direction. 

I heard Niall groan loudly as he shuffled his way over to the couch to sit by me, "How much longer?" he whined.

I couldn't help but laugh at him, "Someone is very impatient today." 

Niall huffed, "I'm just bored. As soon as they get here, the fun begins."

I glanced at him, then back to my phone, "Well, it'll be about ten more minutes. They're almost here." I said. Niall sighed, leaning his head back on the couch, closing his eyes.

"So who is she bringing with her?" he asked.

"Uhm, I don't know honestly. It's just her and two other friends. I don't know their names, but I know they're two guys."

Niall snickered lightly, "Oh, this should be fun." he said and peeked over at me with one eye open. A smile displayed on his face. 

I looked at him and smiled, "What?"

"I hope you know we're going to play spin the bottle with them." he said and his smile grew even bigger.

I shook my head, "No, you can play spin the bottle with them," I said. Niall shifted his position on the couch so he was now sitting up straight, and staring me down intently, "What?" I asked.

"Come on, Julina! Where's your sense of adventure?"

I sighed, "Let's just see how this goes, okay?" Niall let out a breath and crossed his arms over his chest. I felt my head starting to ache as my blood continued to rush to it. I spun my body around to the right, avoiding kicking Niall in the head. I stood from the couch and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a few bowls and poured several different chips into them, spreading each bowl out along the counter. I opened a package of red solo cups and placed them on the counter next to the alcohol and soda.

My phone started ringing, indicating that I had a new text message. It was from 'The Most AMAZING girl ever :D' aka Analeigh

It read:

We've just turned down the dirt road. Be there in a few!!

I replied with an 'okay' and stuffed my phone in my shorts pocket. "They'll be here in a minute, Niall!" I shouted from the kitchen. I finished setting up the snacks, and turned the music up a little bit more. 

I heard a car slowly coming up the driveway, and my heart jumped up into my throat as my excitement went through the roof. 

I pushed the curtain to the side on the door to see a rusted up truck creep up the road with Analeigh in the passenger seat. "They're here!" I screeched. There was a boy driving the car. He had black, smooth hair that was styled up into a quiff-like form. He wore sunglasses over his eyes, and was wearing a tank top, exposing his marked up arms. From where I was, I couldn't see the second boy.

As they parked the truck, I ran outside to greet them. A very excited Analeigh came out, wrapping me in a hug, squeezing me tightly. "I'm so happy to see you!" she exclaimed loudly in my ear. I flinched a little, but she didn't notice. 

"It's so great to see you too!" I smiled and she let me go. I heard the cabin door shut behind me. I turned around to see Niall sauntering his way over to us. He stopped next to me and smiled warmly at Analeigh.
