**Chapter 11**

Liam didn't go to English, which I kind of expected after the way he stormed out of the coffee shoppe like that. I was really hoping he would've gone to English so I could ask him what I did wrong. What would be the point though? He would just freak out on me anyway, so I guess there really was no point.

I just don't understand him at all. Every time we have a decent conversation--using the term decent very lightly--he storms off like his ass is on fire.

What did I say to make him leave like that? It was definitely because I mentioned Zayn and Harry, but Liam likes Zayn, so it must of been because of Harry. Does he not like Harry? How could he not like Harry though? He's so nice, and friendly, and sweet. He's also so easy to talk to. Liam's such a stiff most of the time, and I don't understand why.

There's something about Liam that just keeps me guessing. I don't know what it is, but I'm determined to figure it out. I want to prove to him that I'm not like everyone else. I'm never going to leave him no matter how hard he tries to push me away. I'll always be right here.

A sudden buzz from my phone snapped me out of my thoughts. It was a text from my mom.

It read:

How was your day honey?

I replied:

It was uneventful. Can we go see Niall today?

Within a minute she replied back to me.

It read:

Of course! I'll be by later to pick you up then we can head over.

I replied with an "okay!" then I put my phone back into my pocket. I was currently in the Library all by myself. I was all alone today. Liam didn't go to English, and Analeigh didn't come to Child Development today either. I didn't want to sit in the library anymore, so I decided to go outside in the fresh air.

I went to sit down on a bench to relax in the sun. It felt so good against my skin. I was determined to soak it up while I could because in a few weeks, it wasn't going to be here much longer. I heard someone walking up beside me. He sighed heavily before sitting down on the bench with me. I tried to pretend I was busy by playing around on my phone.

"Julina?" a familiar voice asked. I looked up to see Zayn smiling at me. He looked as terrible as I did. His red, puffy, sleepless eyes gave it all away.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

I shrugged my shoulders, "Okay, I guess. How about you?"

He shook his head, "I could be a lot better." he said. I nodded in agreement. We were both quiet for a moment, then Zayn spoke up, "I was going to go to the hospital to see Niall. Would you want to come with me?" he asked.

"Sure! I'd love too." I said, giving him a warm smile. I texted my mom, telling her she didn't have to come get me at school because Zayn and I were heading to the hospital.

When we got there, we signed in at the receptionist's desk. A nurse brought us down to Niall's room where he was awake, watching TV.

"Niall!" I gasped as I walked into the room, tears already threatening to spill. I rushed over to his bedside and gave him a gentle hug.

Niall laughed, "Hey Julina." he smiled hugging me back. He looked a million times better than he did just yesterday when I saw him last.

"Hey Niall." Zayn said awkwardly, standing next to me.

"H-hey Zayn." he stuttered. He had this look in his eyes; they sparkled when they looked at Zayn or talked to him. It was probably the most adorable thing I've ever seen.
