Autumn-
Lucky for me the moment I stepped into the dimly lit basement I was attacked by hugs and apologies.
I of course forgave all of them for doing absolutely nothing wrong and sat on the couch beside Ryder to watch the family show which I had no clue even existed but then again, I don't really watch tv.
"What is this?" I asked Ryder earning a few shhhhh's from more than half the group.
"Sorry." I apologized embarrassed.
I don't know about you but when two people at least are annoyed with you or tell you to stop doing something because of what you said or did, it kind of makes you feel a mix between guilty and embarrassed.
Getting off the couch I walked towards the exit.
I walked up the staircase and almost tripped in the darkness, once out the door A fresh wind hit me sending shivers up my spine. It was dark out and I couldn't see much but I managed to make my way to the steps of the town hall to sit down on.
I was staring out to the darkness and was amazed how dark it had gotten in less than an hour.
"Hey A." my head spun around immediately as i heard the nick name to the short girl walking into the light from the shadows.
"Shadow?" I asked straining to see her clearly.
The nick name is pretty self explanatory.
I could make out a growing grin across her face.
"What are you doing here?" I practically screamed with joy, I was off the steps and picked her up in a tight hug.
She giggled and hugged me back.
"I didn't get to say goodbye." she stated and I couldn't help but laugh.
"How's everyone at the centre?" I asked putting her back down.
"You mean the orphanage?" She corrected me.
"I guess that's another word for it." I agreed.
"It's terrifying and depressing as usual, three people have committed suicide since you left." She sounded so calm but I didn't react to the information either, it wasn't surprising.
I think I should introduce Shadow to you, she's worth an intro.

"What are you doing back here?" I asked once again.
She grimaced at my question.
My smile vanished.
What has she got herself into this time.
"What?" I sighed sternly.
"Just hear me out, I know you know how horrible it is there, and when you left I practically killed myself, so I stole your file, found out you transferred here, saved up my money for a bus ticket and tada!" She threw her arms in the air.
