Autumn-
Every day was the same, go to school have a bitch fight with kayla and her posse, be avoided by everyone, including Ryder might i add, and then go to lunch with Tori, go to a few more classes, then come home and have a good rest of the day.
I was on dishes for the rest of the week which didn't bother me, but what got me annoyed was the new rumours kayla had spread about me around the school.
And whats worse, when people talked about them, they didn't make it a goal to keep their voice low.
There were so many rumors and people kept adding to them.
There was one which made me sound like a slut, apparently the reason why I've got such high marks in my maths is because I slept with my teacher at my other school and the reason I got kicked out of the orphanage was because I slept with one of the guys that worked there.
First of all I work hard for my maths and second if I slept with anyone that worked at my old orphanage no one would care!
Another rumor was I pushed a little girl into the mud on the weekend and made her cry.
There are so many others and the worst thing about rumors are that they aren't true! but kayla had everyone fooled thinking I'm a slut and a monster.
So here I am, going to my school, where my only friends are Tori and a bench on the edge of the field where I spend most of my time reading.
I know I say I'd rather everyone avoid me than me having to avoid them, and its true, but it'd be nice to have one stable friend who isn't an orphan and who doesn't care about me being one.
I don't know, it's just... I've never had that before.
"Why the glum face mace?" Tori came over to our usual bench.
I stared at her blankly.
"Sorry, I wanted to see how it sounded."
"Please don't ever say that again." I begged her with a laugh.
She laughed with me, "duly noted."
"So are you going to tell me what's wrong." she asked.
A couple of people walked past muttering slut as they did.
Tori gave them a glare then turned back to me, "it isn't the rumors is it? because everyone knows they're just lies." she assured me.
And by everyone she means the orphans, the orphans who understand me. not the normal people who could choose to understand me and don't.
"It's not the rumors." I assured her.
After a long silence I spoke, "Do you ever wonder what it's like to be normal?"
Tori stared at me for a while then a small smile appeared on her perfect little face which I was envious of.
"Who's normal? is there such a thing?" she asked me rhetorically, "look around Autumn where in the world do you see normal, we live in an unbelievably small town, and those normal people you're speaking of don't exist, even in a huge city like New York no ones normal, everyone's completely different and everyone's completely insane." She laughed
I smiled to that, she had a point.
"You're a good friend Tori." I stated.
"Aren't I just." she smiled.
I let out a small laugh and she joined in.

The rest of the school day was the same. my life was on repeat, apart from this week I didn't have to do the dishes, but today was my mopping day.
Tori took over the dishes from me so when I was mopping the kitchen we talked profusely, we had gotten pretty close talking about our past and all our stories, I told her how I got kicked out of my old orphanage and she couldn't stop laughing, she even called Dylan and I twinzies.
She wouldn't be laughing if i'd told her the truth. How i actually got kicked out of my old orphanage will forever be my secret. No one can know, no one will ever know.
Most of her stories were about Dylan and her, i didn't mind, all her stories were funny and cute mixed with an embarrassing touch.
My stories were occasionally funny with a hint of depressing.
I preferred listening to her stories.
Something that you didn't know about the house I live in is its constantly playing music or the radio is on, the only time music isn't playing is when you go to sleep, so this is what happens almost everyday, "I love this song!" Tori gushed as she did the day before and the day before that.
"You love every song!" I laughed.
She stopped washing the dishes and started dancing around the kitchen.
I couldn't contain my laughter.
Dylan came in wondering what was happening as Tori twirled around the kitchen.
"What's going on?" he asked as I remained in a laughing fit.
"Your girlfriends insane!" I blurted out in between my fits of laughter.
Dylan grinned at his girl, "Tori what are you doing?" he bit back his laughter.
"You remember this song?!" she asked him prancing around the room.
He let out a laugh, "yeah I remember it." he assured her.
"Dance with me?" she pleaded.
I took a daring look at Dylan, he shook his head like it was the worst idea on the planet.
"Dance with her!" I demanded.
"Please!" she begged.
He shook his head looking serious, "don't you have chores to do?" he stated.
"Chores shmores, I have hours to do them." she waved her hand over her face.
"C'mon dance with her!" I pushed him towards her.
A big smile appeared on her face as she took his hands in hers and skipped around the room, he twirled and dipped her a few times but didn't do anything to embarrassing.
Tori on the other hand was oblivious to the world around her and was going all out graciously flying around the room.
Every time she skipped past him she would pinch him, irritating him each time.
Until he snapped and started chasing her around the room.
She squealed and stopped dancing going into a full out run around the room until he caught her.
I was laughing the whole time.
"Why are you pinching me miss Walsh?" he asked her with his arms tightly wrapped around her.
"Because boys who don't dance with Tori get punished." she growled in a fake serious voice.
Dylan laughed, "I always thought of myself more of a man than a boy don't you think?" he asked her.
She couldn't resist a little giggle.
"That depends." she smirked.
"Depends on what?" he asked with a worried frowned.
I laughed a little, Tori's a little fire cracker you could only guess what's going on inside that head of hers.
"If you can take..." she elbowed him as hard as she could in the gut and he let her go with a gasp as his hands shot to the side of his stomach.
I wasn't sure if I should laugh or not so I stood in my spot looking shocked at what she'd just accomplished.
"...That." she finished her sentence now facing him.
He gritted his teeth and stood up straight like nothing had happened.
He raised his eyebrows at her with a small smile, her grin widened showing off her perfectly straight teeth, " you're all man Dylan Briley." she admitted and then brought him into an apologetic hug.
Those two were amazing.
