Autumn-

I almost cried at the dull fact that it was already Friday, the week went so fast!

And he still hasn't backed out!

I don't know what depressed me more, the fact he hadn't given up or the fact that soon I wouldn't be able to torture him anymore.

Although, I had fun having a body guard from Kerry and Kayla's attacks and we skipped out on a Maths Test due to the fire alarm being Pulled, This has been the best week of my life, I know it hasn't finished yet, but still!

"Am I free yet?" Ryder leaned with his back against the lockers beside mine.

"Weeks not over till I say it's over." I chirped.

His face fell and he sighed.

"That's annoying." he stated.

"Who knows when I'm gonna need a hero." I smirked at him.

"I'm your hero now?" He smirked back.

I rolled my eyes playfully.

Ryder and I had gotten closer, sharing those small moments that made us laugh, or more I laugh and he sucks up his pride and does whatever I say.

But even so when I text something like 'rescue me from English', I'm always amused at his little excuses or how he manages to free me from whatever I'm doing.

I give him praise at the very least for his obedience.

We started walking to the field where he had a football practice awaiting him.

People shot confused glares at us.

I felt like spitting in every one of their disapproving little faces.

"Why is Ryder with her." I heard a group of girls murmur.

Could they say it any louder! Note the sarcasm.

Ryder chuckled beside me.

"What?!" I snapped at him.

He held his hands up in fake surrender and I rolled my eyes at him annoyed.

"You look as if you're about to murder someone." he sated.

"I am." I turned to stare him in the eyes dead serious.

I've already murdered three, Whats a few more to the list.

"I bet you're quite experienced." he joked.

If only he knew the half of it.

****

"So you coming to the party tonight?" Ryder asked joining me in the hallway.

"I wasn't planning to." I admitted.

Me and parties don't go well together, take the last one for example!

"Come on! Have a little fun!"

"You sound like Tori." I stated.

"Because every teenage male wants to find out they sound like a girl."

I grinned. How he makes me smile. I stopped in my tracks...

I just said that... I.just.said.that. What's happening to me?!

"What's wrong?" he frowned.

The weeks not over yet and we're acting like we're best friends!

He could still back out!

"I'll text you if I need you." I stated dully and walked away, leaving him confused behind me.

I can not fall for him!

****

A fancy black Nissan 350z drove up beside me.

"Hey sis."

I stared at the man behind the wheel of the car and looked around at all the others in the school parking lot.

They were all in their own little bubble. Thank god for that.

"Leave me alone Andrew." I replied bored.

"What happened to you?"

I looked at him, my eyes narrowed.

"What didn't happen to me?! and do you even get to ask that question? I mean its not like you knew me well enough in the first place to know what I was like!" I hissed at him.

I reached into my back pocket and grabbed out my phone.

School parking lot, SOS!

"You don't get to start yelling at me like I'm the bad guy here! yes, I made a mistake! but who could of guessed you would make such a mess of your life!" He parked and slammed the door behind him.

I looked up at this man who claimed to be my brother.

"You.will.never.be.my.brother." I seethed the words through clenched teeth.

"Too bad! Because whether-" his sentence was cut off by a strong force that tackled him to the pavement.

Ouch.

My jaw loosened up and I began to laugh.

Ryder bounced up from my brother as my laughter continued.

His great rescue was to tackle him?

Ryder is many things, creative is one of them.

"A party doesn't sound so bad now, does it?" Ryder stated more than questioned.

"Correction, alcohol doesn't sound so bad now, I'm still against parties."

"But you're coming right?"

I nodded with a giggle, His desperation is hilarious in itself.
