Autumn-

The constant sound of the bleeping alarm almost had me throwing it at the wall.

I thought if I waited a few more seconds it would stop. But no, it doesn't work like that!

Annoyed I sat up in bed and scowled at the constant bleeping alarm. If only looks could kill!

Picking up the alarm it read 6:30am, frowning, I thought I was supposed to be awake by 5:30.

Shit.

I grabbed the clothes from my bag and ran into the hallway.

Alex opened the bathroom door all changed and ready. she gave me a small smile, "glad to see you're up in time."

I sighed with relief and opened the bathroom door for my turn.

Thank god I'm not late.

I only had fifteen minutes to get ready, but that was plenty of time compared to what I had at the other orphanage. this place was paradise compared to that shit hole.

I should of broken that bitches leg years ago.

****

I had the choice between musli and yogurt or toast and jam.

I choose the musli, I don't have any patience waiting for the toaster to do its job.

Dylan was taking things out of the cupboard and fridge and putting them on the dinning table.

Almost everyone was crowding around the table snatching the new things that appeared before they were gone.

"Five items each and a water bottle!" Dylan reminded them, "two of those items have to be a sandwich and a piece of fruit." he stated as a fact.

A few groans came from the crowed and the sandwiches and apples were picked one by one off the table.

It's funny how everyone acted like a legit family, Dylan was the father of everyone of course, and Victoria was his helper for the girls/ the mother. everyone is pretty much together together which is cool in a way, it reminds me of that twilight movie, but more normal and less incest.

I personally wouldn't do it, because when you get into fights, you live together, and when you break up, talk about awkward!

I wonder if any of them considered that.

Or maybe they just do the near impossible and don't break up.

****

"Is everyone out?" Dylan called to everyone before locking the door.

"Lex is still inside!" Arthur called out.

Dylan didn't seem fooled. "shut up Arthur." Dylan hissed.

Arthur laughed, "one of these days you'll fall for it!" Arthur assured him.

"Keep dreaming!" Dylan shouted to the back of Arthur's head as he threw his arm around Victoria.

Rosie, Leah, Ethan and Liam had already disappeared around the driveways corner.

"Why do they bother running?" I asked Victoria confused.

She laughed. "they run the driveway so they can make out for three minutes without disturbance."

I was shocked at first.

But as I digested the information I found myself caring less, good for them.

****

The five minute walk of slight conversation and the never ending sound of Arthur cracking rude jokes and Alex smacking him over the head whenever it offended her kept the morning fresh.
