Autumn-
I had arrived here on the fifth of April and now on the Fourth of July I was in the exact same place, but this time I think of it as my home, and the idiots around me are my family.
That's right, for the first time in my life I can say I have a home I love and a family I couldn't imagine living without.
But saying that, I could do without scrubbing windows on a Saturday.
So i guess my 'you're always alone in this world' has changed to 'i'm a little less alone in this world.
"There's a Fourth of July town party at the school tonight, I was planing on taking everyone down there for the night, what do you think?" Dylan asked me.
He can't be serious.
"You want to drag everyone down to that shit hole of bullies as a celebration?" I asked him shocked.
He laughed.
"If you stay close to me no one will bother you." he assured me.
I laughed squirting another window with cleaner and wiping it around.
"Yes, no one wants to get a broken leg on the Fourth of July." I laughed
He laughed along, "well, I heard we were twins in that department, so you can't talk." he reminded me.
"That bitch deserved it." I defended myself.
"As did that asshole."
We both cracked up laughing.
"No, but really, you think everyone would rather stay here?" he asked serious again.
"I think you'll need to convince them."
"And how do you suppose I do that?" he asked.
Dylan and I had gotten closer throughout the months, as you would imagine me being his girlfriends best friend and his sister like figure.
He always seemed to run things by me before making any huge decisions, he always wanted my opinion on pretty much everything. I'm completely fine with it, it's nice being needed.
"I don't know, practice on me, you have to convince me to go to this party that I would absolutely hate going to. Go."
"Um, well it's the Fourth of July so we deserve to celebrate like everyone else, we're apart of this town too so why don't we start acting like it, there'll be fireworks and free food and a huge field to do whatever you like, you won't get in trouble from me if you get into trouble and... that's all I got." he sighed.
I gave him a weak smile.
"Not good enough?" He frowned in question.
"What if I'm still not convinced?"
He shook his head out for ideas.
But then he hesitated like he wasn't sure to say it or not.
"C'mon spit it out." I urged him.
"I'll give you ten dollars each?" he said all question like.
I smiled, "if money can't get them to go I don't know what will." I assured him.
He laughed and we both went back to work talking about random stuff that's been happening and things like that.
Nothing too interesting.

Dylan had ended up convincing everyone to go but it cost him eighty bucks.
Tori and I agreed to go without taking his money because we were good people.
