Breaking not only the windows

Genevieve didn't move one muscle and neither did the stranger they both just were staring at each other both not knowing what to say. Genevieve didn't know whether to be rude to the person who just broke into to just be neutral. She decided that she could be any way that she wanted because this guy was in her house.

"I hope you know that you owe me a new window," she said with a hiss towards the man.

"Yeah I'm sorry about that I just wasn't really looking to be killed," he said with a slight chuckle but stopped when he saw how Genevieve wasn't even the slightest bit amused.

"Um okay. Well, I'm Ste-" he was interrupted.

"Steve Rogers. I know who you are. I don't care what you're doing just make sure my window gets fixed. But until you can actually do that, leave" she said with her arms crossed over her chest asserting her dominance.

"Right uh yeah, sorry about that I'll get someone over here tomorrow to fix that. Sorry for waking you up. Um have a good rest of your night then" he said all nervous because he was so used to people always loving him and his personality, but not her. She actually did not like him and he could totally understand why.

Just as Steve was getting walked to the door the sound of another window breaking caused Genevieve to groan in anger. She went to go look to see who it was this time and it was none other than Tony Stark. She was more furious now and she was not afraid to show it on her face.

"You'll pay for that, actually for both of them, and pay for the people to come and install them. I expect it soon, but for now, you can both leave my house" she hissed at the two Avengers making them look at each other wondering why this girl hated them both so much.

That was just what Genevieve needed in her life was not one, but two broken windows. At least she wasn't going to have to pay to get them both replaced and installed, which she was grateful for. But as for the two men who broke the windows, she shouldn't have even been surprised. They have been known to destroy many people's windows and walls just so they can stop one criminal. She glanced over at the windows knowing it was letting the cold night air into her space. She walked over to the thermostat and turned it up a little so she wouldn't freeze for the night. She then walked towards her bedroom glancing at the oven clock to find that it was 2:45 in the morning and she had a class right at 8 am.

"Good God. That's just great I'm going to be so tired tomorrow" she groaned as she got into her bed and set her alarm and fell back asleep.

Genevieve was startled awake, but not by her alarm but by someone pounding on her door. She got up in a hurry, not even caring that she had bed head, and went to go see who was at the door. When she opened the door she found none other than Captain America and Iron Man themselves along with a whole crew to replace her windows.

"Hi, sorry to wake you up but, as you said we are here to pay for and install those windows for you," said Tony with a smirk on his face knowing this is not what she expected and he was glad because no one has ever acted that way towards him before.

Genevieve opens the door more to let them all in and as she did that Tony glanced around the apartment and she could just see the disgust on his face. Steve could also see that Tony was purposefully trying to make this girl even more pissed off than she was last night and he was succeeding. He slightly nudged Tony to back off and just let the girl be because they both knew that this was the right thing to do. But Tony didn't stop and he made himself look so disgusted to even be back in this apartment and that had pushed Genevieve to the edge.

"You know if you think my place is so disgusting then you can leave. I'm sure the company can send you a bill" she spat at Tony and he looked at her and that's when he had enough.

"You know you could be a little more polite since I am fixing your windows for you and all," he said with his signature smug look.

"I mean it is the least you could do since you know you were the ones to actually break them in the early hours of this morning because I know I sure as hell didn't break those windows myself" she spat back at him and he was taken back at how hateful her words sounded and that's when Steve decided to step in.

"You know she's right Tony. We did break them and woke her up this is really the least that we could do for her" Steve said with an apologetic look on his face towards Genevieve while Tony mumbled under his breath because he knew that Steve was right.

"Great now why they fix that, I will be getting ready for my day," she said leaving the room to the two of them. When she got back to her room and finally looked at her phone to realize that it was almost 10 am and she had missed her first two classes of the day. She started to panic and then realized that she had a valid excuse as to why she missed her classes and that she would email her professors about what had happened during the night. She decided to go and snap some pictures just in case her instructors don't believe her and then she went back to getting ready for her 12 o'clock class.

By the time she was ready, it was about 10:45 and the crew was still not done with fixing her windows, and Tony and Steve were both still there. She didn't want to leave them in her apartment alone but she really needed to be able to start walking to campus to get to class.

"I'm leaving for class. I expect everything to be exactly where it was when you first arrived. When you leave lock the door behind you" she stated while walking toward the door.

"yes ma'am," said Steve "we'll make sure everything to be exactly where it was when we first arrived," he said with a nod of his head. Genevieve rollered her eyes and walked out the door slightly slamming it and making her way down to the first floor. When she reached the bottom floor she decided to call her friend Joseph, who was in almost all of her classes with her, to tell him to save her a seat.

"Hey Jo, do you think you could save me a seat for class?"

"Yeah for sure, but where were to this morning?" he asked.

"Long story, I'll tell you about it when I see you" she replied.

"Okay, sounds good! See you soon. Bye."

"Bye," she said. And with that, she was off to campus.
