"Nice to see you to Cap," Sam said with a shake of his head. Sam had no clue that Cap and Nat would be showing up at his door but when he heard that they needed help he was fast to tell them that he could help. "What is it that we are doing this time, fighting an entire planet of aliens?" he chuckled out.
"Uh not quite. You know the guy who tried to kill us a while ago?" Steve asked.
"Yeah, the one with the metal arm right? The guy that you were friends with before the war?"
"Yeah, that's the one. Listen we have a lead on where to find him, but Nat and I won't be able to do it ourselves. We need to leave now. Are you ready?" Steve said already heading back to the car.
"Alright then, let's do this." And with that, they all got back into the car and headed to go and get the Quinjet. Nat was flying the aircraft while Steve was sitting and questioning what it would be like when they landed. Sam was getting his suit on because they were almost there and needed to be ready for a fight if anything happened. Nat landed the Quinjet and opened the doors and they all stood at the door giving themselves a quick breath before heading into chaos.

After Vieve had composed herself enough she went back onto the floor and continued to finish her shift. However, the customers were trying their best to not be too demanding because of the scene that she had caused earlier. She went back to one of her previous tables and she could tell they were treating her with pity and that actually upset her more than she thought it would. However, she really couldn't do much about it because she was so defeated from her earlier outburst. She only had about an hour left of work and she told herself to push through it.
That last hour of her shift went by a lot quicker than she thought that it would and soon enough she was heading out of the diner and heading home. But before she reached the door to her building she remembered that her window was still broken and she really didn't want to stay they. So she called the one person she could always turn to, Jo.
"Hey Jo, listen I know it's late right now but I had a really hard day at work and my windows still aren't fixed, and-" Jo interrupted her.
"Yes, you can stay with me for as long as you need. Besides I miss our sleepovers" he said while smiling even though Genevieve couldn't see it, but she was returning it. The two used to have sleepovers all the time before they both got so busy with working towards their degrees and then their jobs. Vieve was so excited to finally get to spend some time with her best friend outside of classes and actually off-campus. She turned to head towards Jo's house and started walking. The walk wasn't long but the cold frigid air made Vieve really wish that she had at least a jacket in her bag. She began walking faster so that way she could get out of the night air. She put in her headphones turned on the song Getaway Car and headed towards the apartment.
When she arrived she buzzed up to let Jo know that she was there and he came down to get her. He got down to the first level quickly and let her in out of the chilled air.
"Hey come on I've already got the kettle on and a pile of movies to watch," Jo said guiding her up to his place. They got up to his place and it was almost the same as Vieves, only a little newer. The walls in the living room had a beautiful swatch of forest green on them that Genevieve picked out of course. The kitchen had some modern parts about it such as the cupboards and the counters but everything else was closer to the mid-2000's era but Jo wouldn't trade it for anything, he loved his little place.
"Okay so I don't know if you ate but I also ordered takeout and it should be here soon, but in the meantime what type of tea did you want? You want your usual lemongrass?"HE asked pulling out the tea bags from a cupboard.
"You know me so well" she smiled and sat at one of the bar stools. "What did you order for taking out? Please tell me it's Chinese food because I've been craving it all week." she giggled as Jo passed her the cup of tea.
"Yeah actually I did order Chinese and I got you sweet and sour pork. Is that okay?" he questioned taking a seat next to her. "Honestly I have also been craving it, and we always used to have it when we would have our sleepovers in the past so I thought that bringing back the tradition would be fun!"
"You're right! I forgot that we always used to get Chinese food." She laughed.
"Vieve, do you want to talk about what happened today?" Jo asked placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. Her mood immediately changed and she began to stare at her cup to stop the tears from forming. She did want to talk about it but she didn't want to ruin the fun nostalgic mood that was in the air. "If you don't I totally understand, just thought you might want to get something off of your chest."
"Yeah, I do actually want to talk about it, but can we wait for the food to get here first?" she asked giving a small smile.
"Yeah for sure!"

After the food had got there they spent over an hour just talking about how Vieve's week has been so far and then elaborating on what actually happened at the diner. Vieve was truly upset about the face that Steve had made when she told him how he had taken Harrison and Diana too soon. His face had pure shock on it and she couldn't figure out why.
"It's like he didn't know that they kill people when they fight off big threats like that one was. Either that or they do know and they don't care enough to do anything for it." Vieve said with an angry tone in her voice.
"You're right. And they also act like they are people who don't have anything to lose just because they are different than the rest of the people on Earth. Hell, I bet Mr. Captain Rogers hasn't even lost someone so close to him like that" Jo said while stuffing his face with another spring roll. They both continued to talk all night and eventually fell asleep while watching a movie.
However, on the other side of the world Steve, Nat, and Sam were in the apartment of the person who they were trying to track down. The apartment was very bare and was on the dirtier side of the cleanliness scale. It only had a mattress on the floor and a small grungy kitchen that looked as if it hadn't been used in years. They were all waiting for the person to get back, but Sam and Nat were hiding in the apartment's lobby because Steve was the only one that wanted to be seen. Steve was just standing in the room waiting for the person to walk through the door. While glancing around he found a notebook with colored tabs poking out of it. He decided to look through it but while doing so he felt a presence. He turned around to find the person that he had been searching for.
"Do you know me?" he said to the man.
