Sia- Courage to Change

He just barely scraped by during finals. It was a lot of work and because I had to help him with classes I never took it was a little harder for me to learn what he needed and then teach it to him but here we are. He's in summer school making up for some credits while Gideon and I help Stiles amp up his lacrosse skills.

"I want a tattoo," Scott proclaimed when we were all finally cleaned up and playing video games at home.

"Like mom is ever going to agree with that," I scoffed.

"I know a guy," Gideon raised his hand. I glared at him.

"Don't encourage him," I shook my head.

"What do you want to get? Something cool?" Stiles asked. "Like a skull?"

"Eww," I laughed.

"I actually have to go," Gideon got up. "My sister wants to take me back to school shopping and my dad is indulging her. I'll text you the number,"

"Thanks," Scott smiled. Gideon came over to me and kissed me on the forehead before he rushed out. "You guys are cute,"

"I know," I rolled my eyes and continued my game. He pressed the power button on my tower. "Do you want me to fucking kill you?"

"Woah, I haven't heard you curse in a while," Stiles laughed.

"Come with me. I know you don't approve but I want you to be there," Scott smiled.

"Fine, but if you ever touch my PC again. I will end you, McCall,"

"It's scary because you're both McCalls," Stiles mused. "Is it weird to think that one day she'll be Taylor?"

"Fat chance," I scoffed.

"You're driving," Scott shoved his head playfully.

"Stiles doesn't get a say in this?" he asked.

"Nope," I shook my head and pushed him out of my room. We drove to the place Gideon suggested. I looked around the tattoo shop as Scott showed the guy what he wanted.

"Boy, it's a good thing you drew me a picture," the big bald guy glared at my brother sarcastically. I laughed.

"Hey, Scott," Stiles called out to him as the guy continued to prepare to start. "You sure you don't want something like this?" he held up a drawing of a Kanima. I laughed at Scott's annoyed expression. "Too soon?"

"Yeah," I laughed.

"I don't know, man. These things are pretty permanent,"

"I'm not changing my mind," Scott laughed.

"Okay, but why the two bands?" Stiles asked.

"I just like it,"

"But don't you think your first tattoo should have some sort of meaning or something?"

"Getting a tattoo means something," I shrugged.

"You told me not to encourage him," he rolled his eyes.

"She's right," the scary tattoo guy interjected. "Tattooing goes back thousands of years. The Tahitian word "Tatua" means to leave a mark. Like a right of passage,"

"Yeah, you see. He gets it," Scott smirked.

"He's literally covered in tattoos," Stiles shook his head. "Scott, literally,"

"Okay, you ready?" the guy asked Scott.

"Yeah," he nodded. I sat down wondering if that's going to hurt me as well.
