2.2: Shape Shifted

Derek let me know when he bit Isaac. My mom is home and it's pouring outside so I have stay home but what I really want to do is make sure Isaac is alright. I can't stop pacing in my room. I shut the door when Scott tried to come in. I have a weird feeling in the pit of my belly. 

"Sky," he tried. 

"Not now, Scott," 

"I just want to talk," 

I groaned going over to the door and yanked it open. "What part of not now don't you understand?" I asked him. He stepped back. "Hm?"

"Sky, I just want to know you're okay," 

"I'm not okay. We just saw Allison's granddad slice a man in half. I still wake up to the stench of Derek's body being electrocuted. To the sound of Kate hurting him. To the feel of them electrocuting me. So, no. I'm not okay," I growled.

"Sky, I know you're upset but none of that is Allison's fault," 

That's all he cares about. It's like things go in one ear and right the other.

"Keep telling yourself that. I'm pretty sure it was Allison who shot Derek, who has done nothing but try and help us since we met him. It was because of Allison that I was shot. Maybe it wasn't her fault that her aunt was clinically insane but she made a choice and it wasn't you. Think about that," I slammed the door in his face. 

"I'm sorry you feel that way," he whispered. 

"I'm sorry you're blind when it comes to your precious Allison," I sighed. 

When Stiles showed up to pick him up, I didn't go with them and it didn't go unnoticed by mom but she didn't say a word. I felt it as soon as I walked into the school. Gideon was waiting by his car when I stepped on the end of my skateboard and picked it up. 

"You should have texted me," he smiled. "I have practice," 

"It's cool. I needed the ride here anyway. Scott is driving me insane," 

"You don't have to come to my practice," he smiled. 

"I want to. Maybe you can lay him out for me," we both laughed. 

Scott is at the goal which is uncharacteristic of him. After the second time he put someone on their back I got what he's trying to do. He must have sensed Isaac and is probably trying to figure out who the other wolf is. When Isaac stepped up to be next. I knew he knew. When they collided Isaac took the hit head-on. It's fine. He made it just like I knew he would. 

It wasn't long after that the cops showed up and asked for Isaac personally. 

"His father is dead. He's been murdered," Scott told Stiles. 

"Did they say he's a suspect?" Stiles asked. 

"No, why?" 

"Because they can hold him in  holding cell for twenty-four hours," 

"Like overnight?" Scott asked. What kind of stupid question is that?

"During the full moon," 

"How good are these cells at holding people?" Scott asked. 

"People, good. Werewolves, probably not that good," 

"Remember how I told you I don't have the urge to maim and kill?" 

"Yeah," 

"He does," 

I got up and made my way into the school. I'll apologize to Gideon when I see him again. Right now, I have to get Derek. Did Isaac accidentally kill his dad? It's not like the bastard didn't deserve it a million times over, but this is going to draw unnecessary attention to us. All of us. Mr. Argent is going to be pissed.
