We haven't said a word to each other. He's trying to find a way to intercept me to get me to talk to him but what he doesn't know is that I have mastered avoiding people from looking at me since we were kids. I was about to start a game of Deadspace two when my phone went off.

"Yeah?" I answered.

"I need you and your brother to do me a favor," Derek answered. I looked around skeptically hoping he wouldn't phase-out of the shadows like he usually does. "Do you know how to drive a standard?"

"I do," I answered.

"Good, I need you to take my car and lead Kate away. I have a lead on the alpha," he gave me instructions on what to do next.

"Scott," I shouted grabbing my sweater.

"Yeah?" he answered a little to eager for my taste but I'll take it.

"We have to go. Derek needs us to do something for him,"

"Derek? Cops are looking for him,"

"Argents, cops. It's always going to be someone," I shrugged. "Besides, the cops being after him is your fault,"

"Hey," I jumped when I opened the front door to see Stiles standing there with his hand in mid-air like he was about to stick a key in our doorknob. Of course, he has a key to our house now

"He's coming," Scott announced.

"I got the thing," he said holding up the walkie-talkie.

I rolled my eyes as we all walked to where we had stashed Derek's car. I drove by his house to see a bunch of lights and quickly hit the brakes before turning the car around in a swift u-turn. The dist picked up behind the car and in almost no time a car began to follow.

"This was your grand plan?" Scott shouted putting his hand on the dashboard as I began to gain speed. I glanced at him when I shifted gears and smiled. "Keep your eyes on the road,"

"Much faster," Stiles demanded, patting me on my back.

I kept a steady pace as I made sure she followed me into a place a little more secluded. If they do corner us there won't be a lot of witnesses.

"Okay, Sky. I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here,"

"The road is muddy. If I go faster here, I'll kill us in this thing," I replied.

"Well if you don't go faster, they're going to kill us," I turned hard onto the road and finally pressed down on the gas pedal.

"It worked," Scott beamed from the back seat. "Use the thing. Tell us where Derek is,"

"Suspect heading into the ironworks," the thing announced after he messed with it a few times.

I put the car into gear and began to make my way there. There's a lot of blockages but this little thing fit right through. I downshifted when I saw a spark go off up ahead. Both the Argents and the cops have him surrounded. I came to a complete stop as Stiles jumped into the back seat after opening the door.

"Get in," I called out to him. He rushed into the car. Before he could get the door closed I got us the hell out of there.

"What part of lay low don't you understand?" Scott asked.

"Damn it, I had him," Derek growled angrily.

"Who the alpha?" Stiles asked getting in his face.

"Yes, he was right in front of me and the friggin' police showed up,"

"Hey, hey. They're just doing their jobs," Stiles defended. Derek turned the scrutiny of his angry eyebrows towards Stiles who slowly receded back into the backseat.
