Pixies- Where Is My Mind

"Call your dad. Tell them we have something," Scott instructed Stiles. My phone began to ring. I lifted hoping it was Derek but it's Gideon. I sighed when Scott looked up at me. I thought I was getting past all of this. FML.

"Hey, I'm a little busy right now. Can I call you back?" I answered.

"I'm really sorry about this, Sky. I, uh. I have a problem with my brother. A werewolf-related problem," he whispered the last part.

"Oh, okay. Uh-"

"Go," Scott poked me.

"Are you sure? I don't know if we should split up right now. This is kind of important. Really important,"

"Go, if I need you then I'll call," he reassured me.

"Do not hesitate. Please,"

"Go," he pushed me away.

"What's going on?" I asked Gideon as I began to make my way over to the road.

"My brothers are all here. They were yelling and then he just wolfed out and ran off. I've been looking for hours but I can't find him. I don't know what to do. What if he hurts someone?" he's freaking out.

"Hey, hey. You're okay. I'm on my way now. Where are you?"

"Behind the tire shop,"

"Okay, it should take me about ten minutes to get there. Don't move. Promise? Do not go after him like this. You can get lost. There are a lot of dangerous places back there,"

"Yeah, yeah. I'll wait here," he sounds like he's calming down a bit.

"Okay. I'm coming,"

I sprinted in the direction of the road. As soon as I broke the tree line I headed over to the tire shop. It's dark out and it's starting to get foggy. Our situations are just going from okay this is kind of bad to the worst. I need to get a grip of myself.

"Fun night for a run," her voice echoed in my head as I ran out into the main road.

I stopped and looked back to see nothing behind me. Just the sound of her laughter bouncing around in the darkness. I shook my head and pushed myself to run faster than I ever had before. It's urgent now. Not just to get to G-man but to get away from myself. The sound of her feet hitting the ground not too far away is making me crazy. I skid to a stop in front of the tire shop, panting.

"Hey," Gideon appeared from behind the garage. There's a Tahoe up ahead. It's on. I stepped back when his eldest brother stepped out from behind him with a gun in his hand. "I'm really sorry," Gideon lowered his head. "I'm so sorry, Sky,"

"Shut up," his brother pushed him out of the way.

"Calm down," I put my hands up. "What do you want?"

"Get in the car, McCall," he pointed at the Tahoe. "Try to run and I'll shoot you. I know you can heal and I also know it's going to hurt like hell. Don't make this harder than it should be,"

"I'm not protesting," I put my hands up in surrender. I was not expecting this. At least. not tonight. The hints have been subtle. Cash did try to tell me.

"I told you to let it go. She's just a kid. Look at her," Cash growled at them from the trunk as I climbed into the back seat with Gideon behind me. "Sky, you shouldn't have come,"

"Shut him up," their older brother sighed. The handgun is pointed at me again.

"You don't have to point that at me anymore. I'm not protesting. I'll survive if that goes off but none of you will if I lose control," I warned him. "Pain makes me crazy,"
