If you could go back in time, would you change anything?

Takemichi was waiting by the train track, wondering when he'd be able to go back to his admittedly sad excuse for an apartment and lay in filth as he always did after work. Between the weird girl that came by that day and his boss yelling at him for dropping a record, he just wanted to go home.

However, that wouldn't be the case today.

"Takemichi!!" Was the last words he heard as the lights of the speeding train came ramming at him.

He looked in the mirror at the horror he saw: him in middle school. Artificial blonde hair along with his outfit and the soreness of his face constantly being in a scowl until he took over this past body.

"Uh, Takemichi?"

Takemichi looked behind him and saw the little group of people he called his friends back then: Akkun, Takuya, Yamagishi, and Makoto.

"What are you doing? Come on."

He nodded in confusion and followed the group. At the moment, they just seemed like wannabe delinquents who really couldn't do a damn thing. It was especially noticeable when at the lunch table, Yamagishi said, "Yeah, with these glasses I'm way smarter. Right?"

Takemichi gave him a half-baked nod and looked out the window. What was he doing here?

"We're gonna have ourselves a little war with the second years!" Makoto proclaimed.

Was it a dumb idea? Most definitely. Was Takemichi about to tell them that? Most definitely not.

"Wait, we're going to go and fight them right now?!"

The four looked at him in a way that made him feel dumb, but no where near dumber than what these four were in his eyes.

"They think we're wusses." Takuya explained. "So we need to fight back."

"They think we're wusses... so we need to fight back?" Takemichi said this in a way that truly made him seem like a wuss. "Don't say it like you're scared!" Makoto said, although it was evident to Takemichi that he was.

They began hyping him up as if he just hadn't slept that night and there were exams in mere moment, even spilling things on the table. From the way Akkun had reacted to it, it made Takemichi remember that he was more the responsible one.

But even walking down the street, Takemichi still didn't look at these people like the cool kids of the school. He soon found that they indeed were not.

The army of second years strutted towards them down the familiar park, stopping a few feet away. "Are you the ones looking for the second years?"

While they were middle schoolers, just like Takemichi and his friends, the fact that they were in a biker gang was already enough to get them rattle. And he didn't even want tog et started on the beating.

He'd forgotten what it felt like. The punches, the kicks, the blood dripping down his face.

Apparently, Takemichi already spoke to his cousin, Masaru, but much to his dismay, his cousin was just their little pawn. Nothing more.

As Masaru went to get drinks, the little group of "wannabe delinquents" were getting their asses handed to them.

That was until...

"OI!"

A soda can hit the back of one of the third years heads and they all snapped their heads around, thinking it was Masaru. Their faces went pale as their eyes went wide. "Y-Y/N!"

Takemichi painfully opened one eye in confusion. From what he recalled, nobody saved him and his friends... so... who was she?
