"You sure this is a good idea?" Baji asked Kazutora as they snuck around the bike shop. "Y/N's dad is crazy rich. Can't we just ask her?"

"Y/N's dad would never agree to that. Besides, we rely on Y/N a ton already."

Baji looked away in worry. "There's no turning back now..." he said, raising his mask over his mouth.

The two snuck inside and saw the bike at the end of the shop. "There it is! Come on." The two walked up to the miraculous bike and began clipping the wires connecting it to the ground.

"Got it!" Kazutora triumphed.

"Alright, let's get outta here!"

"I'll go open the shutters. Don't start the engine until we're outside!" Kazutora gave Baji a serious look and he nodded. "Okay. Looks like we're gonna pull it off, Kazutora."

Meanwhile, in the back of the shop, you looked up at Mikey's older brother, Shinichiro with a furrowed brow. "Is something wrong?" He asked.

You nodded. "I could've sworn I just heard..." You paused, hearing the noise once more. "The shutters opening. Do you normally have other visitors at this time of night?"

Shinichiro shook his head slowly. "No, not normally. Hold on." He grabbed a wrench and stood up. "Don't make a sound, and if you hear any voice other than mine, call the police and hide."

Hesitantly, you nodded as Shinichiro opened the door, giving you one last look with his finger over his lips, and then shutting it. You stiffened in fear. Please just be my ears playing with me.

Shinichiro walked to the front of his store. "Hey!! What do we got here? A thief?"

Baji's head shot up, seeing the face of Mikey's older brother, although he didn't realize it at the time. "Whose store do you think you're breaking into?" Shinichiro advanced forward, his wrench ready to swing. "Don't think you're getting away from me, punk."

However, after a few steps towards Baji, Shinichiro stopped. "Hey... haven't I seen you somewhere before...? Aren't you Keisuke?"

Baji held a dumbfounded expression on his face. "Sh-Shinichiro-kun? Why are... Why are you here?"

"What do you mean? This is my shop."

Shinichiro-kun's shop? Baji was sweating bullets, his body petrified like a deer in headlights.

As if that wasn't bad enough, Kazutora came ramming in, the pliers he held raised like a bat as he jumped up.

"Kazutora, stop!!"

But it was too late. The pliers bashed into the side of Shinichiro's head and he fell to the ground with a loud thud.

You heard the thud from the room and the blood drained from your face. What was that? You gripped your pants in fear, sweat trickling down you neck.

Then you heard a voice. It wasn't Shinichiro's, for sure, but it didn't sound foreign either. Either way, you reached out for the phone mounted on the wall, you dialled 1-1-0 and held the phone to your ear.

"H-Hello? I'm calling from... uh, S.S. Motors. I think there's been a break in and my friend's older brother went out to see what it was. H-He hasn't come back yet and I'm wo—"

You heard another voice and your breath hitched.

"M'am?"

"S-Sorry, can you please hurry? He hasn't come back and I heard a thud..." Once you heard the affirmation that they were coming and hung up.
