"Ow!" You swatted Emma's hand away. "I don't need ointment, it'll go away."

"Y/N..."

You sighed and let her put the last of the medicine on your cheek. Once she put a bandaid on, she moved back and sighed. "I should've stayed with you..."

"Nah, it's fine. I'm the one who told you to go ahead anyways." You put your hand over the bandaid. "I got a chance to see exactly how Moebius works, anyways. Though the circumstances were questionable."

"You talk strangely when you get serious."

"Do I?"

Mikey poked his head in the room. "Are you okay?" You nodded, averting your gaze and looking at the butterfly that landed on the window's ledge.

He and Draken got into a heated argument with you in between, and the argument was still ringing in your ears.

"How could you leave Pah like that?!"

"It was his choice, so would you just quit it! It's already happened, so what the hell are you gonna do about it?"

You rubbed the back of your neck, forgetting that there was a red mark and you winced, lowering your hand into your lap.

"Be careful." Once that was said, Mikey left the room.

You and Emma sat in silence for a moment.

"Emma-chan, is Takemichi okay?" She nodded. "He should be at his house by now..."

You hummed and swung your legs from under the blanket and onto the floor. "H-Hey, where are you going?" You grabbed your sweater and put it over your head. "I'm going to check on Takemichi. You wanna come?"

"N-No thanks. I have a test to study for."

"Alright then." Before walking out the door, you looked around to see where Mikey was. "Mikey?" You popped your head in his room but saw no one. "Hm, maybe he went out."

You watched the cars pass, ever so often stopping to see if there was someone following you. God, this is killing me... You knew why you didn't know it was going to happen. Because it wasn't supposed to in the first place. You and Emma never went to hang out with Hina.

Just as you were about to cross the street, your phone buzzed and you pulled it out of your pocket.

Is this Y/N? If it is, can you stop by Takemichi's house for a sec?

You stared at the message for a moment. Silently, you put it back in your pocket and looked at the crosswalk. Dammit, Mikey and Draken!

You sprinted down the crosswalk and took a sharp turn towards Takemichi's house, knowing full well that whatever was happening was probably not appreciated there.

But once you got there, you saw them laughing together. Draken and Mikey, as you thought, but they weren't fighting.

You stared down the street for a moment before smiling and turning back. Thank you, Takemichi.

"Hey, Y/N!"

You stopped and looked back. Mikey, Draken, Takemichi, and his friends all had their heads around the corner. "Where are you going?"

"O-Oh, I was just—"

"Come on, we're headed to the park! I wanna show you my soccer skills." Mikey took your hand and began pulling you like a child in a toy store.

"Hey, Takemichi." You began as the small group walked to the park. "What exactly made them stop fighting?"

Mikey walked up to the two of you. "Takemitchy had crap in his hair."

...That's why you stopped fighting?

You giggled and moved away from him. "Ew, that's gross!"

"Aw, come on, I washed my hair!"

Draken put his arm around your shoulder and pulled you away. "Careful, the smell might rub off on you."

"I washed it out already!!" Takemichi sighed. "You're all hopeless."

You ruffled his hair and walked passed him. "Don't be so serious! We're kidding." You skipped over to Akkun and began talking to him as the three watched.

"Mikey-kun, how long have you know Y/N-chan?"

Mikey left a moment of silence for him to think. "I think she was four when we met. Why?"

"I don't know, it just seems like there wasn't a time that she wasn't with you guys. She seems so familiar with you."

"I mean, you're not wrong." Mikey put his hands behind his head. "She was a huge loner before she met me. She was really scared of people."

"Really? But she seems so friendly now."

Mikey laughed. "If you met her at the same time as me, you'd know that it wasn't always the case. Every time she'd talk to someone, she'd hold the end of my shirt and hide behind me."

Takemichi watched you sit down on the steps of the shade at the park, probably telling something embarrassing about someone in the gang to his friends as they burst into laughter.

"Y/N-chin, I'm hungry!" Mikey called out, running up to you and sitting next to you with Draken sitting on the other side of him.

You scoffed and reached into your pocket. "Last daifuku. Cherish it." Mikey nodded and opened the packet, biting at the end of it. "Want some?" You bit the other end and looked at Takemichi, motioning for him to come over.

"Thanks for stopping them." You said in a serious tone. "I'm... unsure of what would've happened if you didn't."

Mikey watched the short conversation with the daifuku in his mouth, feeling like there was a deeper meaning to the conversation for but a moment.

"Hey Mikey." Draken began. "I'm sorry."

"It's cool. I'm sorry too."

You kept your arm behind Mikey so that he wouldn't lie down and choke while your other hand had your phone so you could message Hina and Emma.

"What were you guys fighting about?" Takemichi asked. The both of them were silent for a while and said, "I forgot."

Mikey got to his feet allowing you to move your arm and walk off with your eyes still on your phone.

"But Ken-chin was right. Pah-chin gave himself up after all.... Hey, when Pah gets out, let's have a huge party."

You smiled to yourself, though it was hidden from the rest of them. Don't worry. You will.

"Takemichi-kun!"

Your eyes lit up and your head turned to the approaching girls. You stood behind Takemichi and motioned for Hina to ask him.

"Um... Are you free in August 3rd?"

You gently pushed Takemichi closer, holding him by the shoulders. "She's asking you out, idiot."

"Y-Y/N-chan!"

Takemichi smiled. "Sure! I'll go with you!" You crossed your arms while Emma said, "See? I told you he'd say yes."

You skipped over to Draken and tapped his shoulder. "Look who's here!" He glanced behind him. "Yo, Emma!"

She looked over. "Huh? You two made up? But you were at each other's throats!"

"We were?"

"I dunno."

You sighed and face palmed. "These two..." Then, realization hit you. "...I'm the only one that doesn't have a date."

Mikey stopped bouncing the ball on his head, his expression going serious. "What? Is there someone in mind?"

"No, I— Ugh, whatever. Boys suck anyways."

"Hey!!"
