You opened the front door. "Mom!"

"Y-Yes? What's the matter?"

You took her hand and gently twisted the skin of her wrist, but nothing happened. What? What's going on? "Y/N? You look..." Your mom tilted your chin up. "Disturbed. Are you alright?"

Why isn't it working? Why can't I go back to the present? What's going on?

"Y/N?"

You stepped away from your mom. "No... no, no, no." You took a few deep breaths. Alright, don't panic. You've got this. When Takemichi comes back, just ask him what's happened. Keep composed.

You smiled to your mom. "I'm fine. Don't worry. I just thought I forgot... something." You went up the stairs and shut the door to your room, closing your eyes and pressing your back against the door.

"Alright." Your eyes scanned the bulletin board on your wall. Hakkai, Draken, Chifuyu, those are all the funerals I saw. You traced the edge of Mikey's photo and took it off the bulletin board, staring at it for a moment with a conflicted expression.

Best bet... it was Mikey.

You put the photo back up, wondering what exactly could cause such damage to him, so much that it caused him to do such a horrendous act. Part of your mind wanted it to not be true, and it was just a coincidence. Your hunch, predictions, it all was wrong.

You turned to Kisaki's photo and pulled out a thumbtack, a photo falling to the ground as you stabbed through his face, hearing the thumbtack bash into the wall behind the bulletin board.

"Damn you, you little—" You didn't even know his role in all this, but you knew it was something... something. What is this "something"? You wouldn't know.

Or maybe...

You tapped your chin.

"Don't listen to these worthless fools! Aren't you going to make a new age for delinquents?! Toman's gonna get bigger and become and organization that can bring anyone to their knees. If it gets bigger, it's sure to breed darkness! And I'll take on all that darkness so that you can shine!!"

"A new age..." Your eyes followed the string along the bulletin board, looking at the different people that were connected to Kisaki. "What is something they all have in common?"

You knelt down and picked up the photo that fell down; Taiju. "Without Takemichi's intervention, Taiju would've died without anyone knowing of Kisaki's role. And then... the Black Dragons would've joined either way, since it would be Inui and Koko's decision either way."

The habit of talking out loud when you were thinking was getting to you, blocking out the sound of your mom calling you.

"The Black Dragons and Toman teaming up... it would 'bring anyone to their knees.' And it's certainly make Toman bigger, just like Valhalla did."

Your mind was a mess, thinking of Kisaki's connection with Hina, what Kisaki's motives were, why you couldn't go back to the present, and most of all, what caused Mikey to snap.

"Ken-chan said that Mikey was originally supposed to lead Valhalla, so did Kisaki find... an alternative?"

You felt something soft brush against your ankle and you looked down, seeing Tora's golden eyes staring back at you. "Huh? How did you get in?"

"I let her in."

You noticed your mom in the doorway, and picked up Tora, your brows furrowing suspiciously. "How long have you been standing there."
