At first, Takemichi had snapped at Draken for lying to him. But, now that he thought about it...
"We wanted you to live happily." Draken said. "Don't be mad at Chifuyu, okay? I told him to play along with the bluff. One of the things that Y/N always wanted you to live a happy life with Hina."
"What...?"
Draken sighed and pulled out his wallet, pulling out a receipt sized paper. "Here."
Takemichi's eyes stung with tears, seeing uncoloured circles.
"The last one she coloured was that one." Draken pressed his finger against the seventh one. "She died the same night. After that, he wasn't the same Mikey I knew. He was quiet at her funeral, and he barely even said goodbye. A note is what he left after that."
Takemichi looked down, gently squeezing the edge of the paper and watching it crinkle. He could picture you scribbling these things down in the middle of the day or night, whenever it came to mind.
It hurt.

"Sorry for making you do this Naoto."
"Don't worry. You saved my life, I can do this for you." Naoto placed a folder on the desk.
He slid the folder on Mikey towards him. "A criminal organization called Bonten formed. And the 'white haired man'... Not a lot is known about the group. They've evaded the police enough and they can't get any intel. In other words, it's like the Tokyo Manji gang in another timeline. And that white-haired man is..."
"Kurokawa... Izana?"
"No.. Kurokawa Izana is dead. The white-haired man was previously known... as the 'invincible Mikey.'"
While the news was shocking, something Takemichi couldn't get out of his mind was... how did you lose a fight? You nearly never lose a fight. And half the time, if you're anywhere close to losing, your gang has your back.
He held out his hand. "I want to see Mikey."
• I skipped a ton of things cuz you basically know what happened already so onto the time capsule •
Even at nightfall, to the very event he wanted them to do 12 years ago, Mikey didn't show up.
"Guess it can't be helped. Let's open it up." Draken said.
"It's hard to accept, but I haven't heard a peep from him in the past years." Peh-yan said. "...Nine years, I think."
"Even if we open it now, he'll still see what's inside it." Pah said. Although, Mitsuya couldn't even remember what he had put in it. Time flew by so fast, and it was hard to believe that they truly had buried that time capsule twelve years ago.
"Woah! Talk about nostalgia!" Chifuyu held up an airplane magazine. An average child's dream... become a pilot. Of course, Hakkai, who had made fun of Chifuyu about it in the first place... well, he wanted to be an astronaut.
