"Y/N-chin!!" Mikey jumped onto the mattress you were sleeping on and you jolted a bit, your eyes going wide. You sat up, seeing the boy lied down over you with a soft smile.

You put your hand on his head and then smacked him. "You scared the heck out of me, do you know that?" He whined quietly once you pushed him off your lap. "Come on, Gramps said that we have to wait for you before we can open presents!"

You stared for a moment. "Why... would you have to wait for me?"

"Why? What are you talking about? Anyone that is invited into the Sano household become part of the Sanos. Chores, holidays and all."

You pushed his forehead. "Right, right. I'm coming." He walked out of the room and you smiled. "Idiot."

After looking less like you just woke up, you made your way to the living room and...

"Mikey... I thought I told you..."

"I know, and I said to the gang, 'only one gift per division.'"

"So why is there TWENTY FOUR GIFTS WITH MY NAME ON THEM?!"

Mikey's grandpa laughed, followed by Emma's quiet giggle. "That gang really cares about you." Emma said.

Upon opening the gifts, you got a series of random things. Were you complaining? Not really. You didn't quite appreciate the fake cockroach in one of the boxes.

"Mother Nature, what is that!" Both you and Emma jumped to your feet and you put your back against the wall. Mikey looked inside the box and picked it up. "It's a rubber cockroach."

"Screw you, Peh-yan!"

"He got you three sweaters."

"Never mind!"

The gang always spoiled you as if you were the last born of a family. Handmade sweaters from Mitsuya throughout the years, the latest headphones by Christmas from Yasuhiro, some sort of food from Draken and two opposing gifts from each Kawata twin.

"I GOT ANOTHER SUCCULENT!!" You said, lifting up Angry's gift as if it were a trophy. Mikey looked inside the gift from Smiley. "This one's a fire breathing dragon figure."

"No way, lemme see!"

Hakkai and Yuzuha normally got you two separate but similar gifts, depending on your interests that year. "I shoot people but sometimes cut their heads off." You read. Emma blinked, trying to process what you just said. "Huh?"

You turned the mug and showed her. "It's a photography joke."

"Oh... okay then."

"This one's from Yuzuha-chan. The one that says 'Warning, I can snap at any moment' is from Kai-kun." You grinned at the two mugs that were side by side. "They're so cute. Where did they even get these?"

Mikey pushed one towards you. "This one's from me!" You picked it up. "I didn't even know you went shopping." You opened the bag and looked inside. "A book..." You read the title and laughed a bit. "Surrounded By Idiots?"

Mikey's grandpa snickered. "I'm sure you feel that way, sometimes."

"Indeed."

Emma picked up one of the boxes. "This one's from me!" You opened it and your eyes lit up. A bracelet attached to a piece of cardboard that said, "To my unbiological sister." "Emma-chan!" You and her hugged while Mikey took some chocolate from the gift you got him.

You got a gift from Takemichi's five friends, all of which being some kind of food. "You can't blame them." Emma told you. "They don't really know you that well."
