"Alright, here's the thing." You stood up straight, giving Chifuyu and Takemichi a serious look.

The two remembered the signal that you gave them during the meeting and decided that they wouldn't keep it a secret that they were investigating this on their own as well. Both of them admitted that you were much smarter than them, but that comes with consequences.

You knew every nook and cranny of it. And nothing you found was good.

"From what I can tell, Kisaki is trying to destroy Toman from the inside, thus giving Baji a reason to not side with Toman in this fight. Instead of using brute strength to beat us, he's using our own minds."

It sent a shiver down Takemichi's spine just thinking about it. Someone could be so smart that he can mess with people's minds?

"I don't know if you saw, but Kisaki didn't look all too upset that Mikey didn't choose to fight Baji." You leaned on the tree with your arms crossed in thought. "So I assume that Baji is involved in this great plan of his."

Then you looked Chifuyu straight in the eye. "You don't know who Kazutora is, do you?"

He shook his head. "I'm pretty sure he was once a commander, right?"

"Leader of our attack unit. Formerly. He's part of Valhalla now."

"What does Kazutora have to do with this?" Takemichi asked. You gave him a put-the-dots-together look and he seemed to realize.

"According to data I've gotten from other fights, he has no qualms with killing. He also seems to have no problem with going against his own gang, should it be of his best interest."

Chifuyu and Takemichi looked at each other, concern in their eyes. "What's... considered his best interest?"

You were silent. You didn't want to worry Chifuyu, but you knew it'd just put him on edge if you didn't tell him anything. "Let's just say, if Kazutora figures out that Baji isn't really on Valhalla's side, it won't be pretty."

As you walked off, you stopped for a moment and turned your head to look at them. "For him and for the rest of us. Goodnight."

You stared at your computer screen, really wishing you had your computer from the present. It was significantly faster.

"Y/N-chin, don't you want to sleep...?" Mikey asked, looking at your screen with squinted eyes.

"I don't think I'd be able to pay attention with the fight happening tomorrow."

"It's 1:30am."

"Later then." You pressed enter in the search bar. "Write this down for me please?"

You heard the paper rustle behind you and you read it out. "Physical ability, 5. Brute strength, 4. Battle IQ, 4. General intelligence, 2."

"Where are you reading this off of?"

"It's just my own interpretation." You held out your hand and he handed you your notebook. "...Who the hell taught you how to write?"

"What do you mean?"

"Do you have two pinkies?! I can't read crack on this!" You sighed and rewrote what you said on another page. "Aren't you tired?"

He shook his head, plopping himself on the mattress in the corner of the room. "I wanna watch."

You typed away at your computer, scribbling down something ever so often. "Why does it say my name on it?" He asked, inching closer to you.

"I need to analyze Toman as well to confirm who goes best with who. At the moment, you're with..." You tapped your pencil on your chin. "I don't know yet."

"What about Kenchin?"

"Hanma." You crossed out something. "Of course, you won't solely be on one person the entire fight. It's just who's recommended for each member so that we can keep other members away. Imagine one of our lower ranks trying to fight Hanma."

"Yeah, that does sound pretty bad. That's why you're our strategist, Y/N-chin."

You nodded, contemplating if you should write Kisaki's name or not. "Hey, can you pass me my camera?"

Mikey got up and took your camera off the pile of books next to the mattress so he could hand it to you, but got a bit caught up in the books you had. He handed you your camera and picked up one of your books.

"Fruits Basket?"

"It's a romance manga." You said, searching through the videos on your camera. "Hey, do you remember that one sample fight I recorded during the summer?"

You got no answer. "Mikey-chan."

No answer.

You looked up and sighed, seeing him reading the first page of your book. "Never mind." You continued to search through your camera until you found the video, and upon hearing the familiar voices, Mikey's ears perked up and he crawled over to you. "That's that one time you were analyzing our fighting styles!"

"Mhm." You connected your camera to your computer and leaned in. "4-6 second hesitation in the left arm, quick kicks..." You twirled your pencil around your fingers, continuing to examine the video closely. "Mikey-chan, are you right footed or left footed?"

"What does that mean?"

"Which one is stronger?

"Uh... my right foot I guess?" You nodded slowly. "And the left foot maintains balance."

You put down you pencil. "Mikey-chan, I-"

"You want me to fight Kazutora?"

"...Yeah, I do. He's the only one that seems to somewhat match you physical prowess." You scratched back of your neck. "You don't have to if you don't want to. Maybe I'll be able to handle-"

"No." He stood up. "You're not going magainst Kazutora. It's not safe for you and I'm not risking you getting hurt."

You smiled and closed your notebook. "Alright. Gang meeting first thing in the morning?"

"Right."

The next morning, you walked into the kitchen and saw coffee on the table. "Mikey prepared it for you earlier." Emma said, sliding it towards you. "He went back to sleep."

"Right. Thanks, Emma-chan." You took the coffee and made your way to Mikey's room, opening the door. "Mikey-chan, gang meeting in 30."

He groaned and got up. "Can you be the leader for today?"

"No. Come on."
