"I'm sorry Takemichi-kun." Hina began. "I came too."
"E-Emma-chan, she's-"
"She stayed at the hospital with Y/N-chan's mom." Hina looked down. "I... told Mikey and Draken about your time-leaping.." Takemichi's eyes widened. "Wait, you told them about the time leaping stuff?!"
Hina smiled awkwardly. "It... kind of just slipped out."
"'Slipped out?'"
The two of them were the worst he's ever seen. He didn't know if it would've been any better if Emma got hit rather than you, but he probably would've gotten a broken version of you, which wasn't really desirable either.
"Well, Mikey, looks like half of Tenjiku can still fight." Draken pointed out.
"Yeah... 200 versus 2, huh?" Mikey stared forward, unafraid, unwavering. Like he always was. "Want a handicap?"
Tenjiku's standing fighters were outraged. A small boy, younger than most of them, had asked if they wanted a handicap, after all. But he didn't get the name "Invincible Mikey" for nothing.
"Aren't you the ones making fun of me?" Mikey's eyes scanned the apparently small crowd in front of him. "Who do you think I am, huh? 200 guys? Bring me 20,000!!"
Mikey turned back to his gang, a smile finally forming at his lips. "Come on guys, what's the hold up? It's time to party." He punched his fist into his palm. "That's what we're here for!"
"Come on Toman, make some noise!!"
"You're too loud, Ken-chin."
Takemichi was quiet for a brief moment, before smiling and saying, "Thank you, Hina. I tried to get them back on their feet and I couldn't. Your sincerity helped them."
Hina smiled as well and took Takemichi's bruised but comforting hand. "It takes more than sincerity to move people. It was your desperation that moved everyone."
Izana stared at the fight laid out in front of him, quiet and in focus. "Ah... Y/N, you truly found the kind of gang you were looking for. And I thought you were joking."
"Izana-nii-san, what kind of gang do you want?"
He held a stone face as he ran towards Mikey, a quick kick sending Mikey skidding back. "You've lost Shinichiro. One of the dearest people in your life is on the verge of death. So tell me, how does it feel to become an empty shell?"
Mikey sent a glare Izana's way. "Let's settle this, Izana."
The two had a whole showdown, one never quite seen before.
Kick were sent, clashing as if they were swords. It wasn't anything that flowed together, but rather quick, sharp movements. Mikey sent one to Izana's face. Then another. And another.
But the entire time, Izana seemed to be teasing him.
"Whoa! That was an awesome kick, Mikey! You still have this much power even when I made you lose your balance? That's crazy!"
Mikey hadn't said anything the entire time, but everytime he tried to attack, it'd get blocked. He was sent flying back, but when he came running back, he was sent back once again. This time, Izana attacked.
"You're quite talented. No wonder you're called 'unbeatable.'" Izana's grin ceased. "But I can already see through your moves."
"Overpowering senses. Izana's charisma." Mucho stated.
Izana's grin resurfaced, this time wider and less like he was amazed and more like he was looking down at everyone in his path. "I've overpowered everything in my path with power. There's no stopping it now that my plan has fallen apart. So... I'll kill you."
