Tris POV
"Wrong. Wrong. Wrong!...Hector what is up with you? Make it look professional and Gator I expect more from you...You've been here all your life yet you still can't get the steps right" Zeke yells. He stops in front of me "Tris, this is something special...if you're not committed 100% I suggest you step down now, Laurens ready for anything" he turns to talk to her "isn't that right Lauren" she looks at me and smirks. He then gives me a firm stare as if waiting for my resignation. I'm really not in the mood for this "are you stepping down?" I'm about to walk away when...
"Zeke give her a chance, she'll get it together" Tobias looks at me his jaw tightening "isn't that right?"
I look at Zeke and back at Tobias "Yeah, I'll get it together" Zeke nods.
"Alright, lets start from the top" I move towards the the end of the table and sit.
"Zeke, let me step in..." I hear Tobias say.
"Why?" I don't like being repetitive but, why?
"Maybe I can help her a bit...I mean I have been training with her lately"
"Okay" oh my god did he have to. I'll get even more nervous. Ugh. I mean when we usually practice I feel like it's more intimate when no one else is around...but here we are in front of the entire crew. I don't want to stare at him too long or do anything stupid on that matter.
He steps up while the other guy steps down. I look at him.
"You ready?" I look at Zeke and nod. He moves across the table and sits down. I grab my plate and place it down. I step up on the table. Walking like a model. The music comes on. I move and the guys below me start to move. I slip purposely and sit in front of Tobias. I pull him closer with my leg while he "scans" my body. Very uncomfortable. I bring myself up to his lap and...I guess I can say "dance" on him. Arms come up behind me and pull me away...we rehearse all the way till the end. We finish up with his arms wrapped around me.
"That was better" Zeke says. Tobias moves away from me and steps down. I stand there trying to catch my breath. Dance can be graceful but it's also good exercise.
Tobias whispers something into Zeke's ear. Zeke nods.
"Okay guys lets take a break" everyone spreads apart. They all begin their own conversation. I stand there friendless. Of course it could also be because of my attitude.
"Are you planning on staying up there" I look down at Tobias.
"No" he takes my hand and helps me down. Like I couldn't do that myself "Thanks..."
"So what's up?" He says. I look up at him.
"Nothing" I say placing one arm on my hip.
"Are you lying?"
"No" I look at the crew trying to avoid his gaze.
"Are you sure? "
"No" he scratches his head.
"Is that all your saying today" he laughs. I don't even smile. I stand there hands on my hips.
"Come on Tris, what's wrong?" I stay quiet for a minute. He stares at me and I stare back. He shifts on his two feet. I let out a sigh.
"Drew..." I hesitate. He looks at me a bit infuriated "he, came to my house last night and Caleb got together with him" he says nothing. He pulls me by the arm and drags me outside the room. We come to a stop once we reach the rooms.
"Do you want me to tell Zeke"
"No" I almost yell. I sigh. "I just, he's still my brother but that's not the point I really don't care what he does it's just the fact that-"
