Tris POV
I wake to the sound of an alarm. I take a look at my surroundings. Why am I in a hospital? The morning rays of sun hit the window making the inside of the room look beautiful. I note that I'm not alone. I'm on someone...I sit up and look behind me. I feel my heart pick up speed. I get up instantly and go towards the hospital bed.
His eyes open and he looks at me confused.
"Tris, what's wrong?" He gets up and moves towards me. I back away as he nears the bed. What does he think he's doing? "Tris, its just me calm down" he reaches for me.
"Don't touch me" I almost yell. He pulls away.
"Okay Okay" nurses rush inside.
"Sir, you need to leave...she's having a break down..." Tobias. It's just him...he would never do such a thing...I fight to find my voice
"Wait..." I say. He stops mid way through the door "don't leave" he looks at the nurse and she nods. They walk out and Tobias is left there staring at the ground. He looks up at me and searches my eyes.
"Why are you so stupid" what? "Why did you leave" he asks. Why is he being hard on me? Doesn't he know that I've had enough?!
"I...I had to get something at home...I didn't want Erudite to get my ideas" I look down and brace myself. It's cold.
"Over the stupid factions this happened to you...I thought you didn't care anymore"
"I don't but..." I search for the words. Why didn't I just leave the laptop there? It's my fault "Drew was right" I'm too selfish... I look down
"So it was Drew" I look up. He pulls out his phone and dials a number.
"No, Tobias stop" I get up and charge towards him.
"It was Drew...locate him right now" oh my god...what did I just do?
"No, you can't do that" I yell. He hangs up. I smack the phone out of his hand. He grabs a hold of my arms. I think I'm going insane. "you just put the whole faction at risk and yourself" I yell.
"Tris, you need to trust me" he looks me in the eyes. I look away but he insists. He pulls me into a hug. Just like he did last night. I would fight him off but I don't find the use in living or in trying "do you want me to let go?" I do but I don't...I shake my head.
"I want to go back I'm tired of This place" I say. He holds me there and looks into my eyes.
"I'll try to get you out of here...okay" I nod.
Step Up Divergent
Caleb didn't wait for the next meeting. He called out as Divergent as so did some others. I don't judge him. Drew was caught by the police and I'm glad I'll never see him again. The doctors released me as soon as they caught him. I didn't speak of Peter though...he's not my problem.
It's been a week since the incident. I haven't danced since then...Tobias is still giving me some time to recover. The crew has been awfully nice to me but I always remind them not to...I might be touched but I want to be seen as the same person I used to be.
I slip on my leggings and a black shirt. I head over to the train station where I was to meet Tobias and the crew...Apparently we need to work on flexibility, so we're off towards the obstacle course.
"Alright guys let's try to make it early next time" Tobias says. I stand next to him. People look my way but I decide to look past the people.
"Today we will be working on our flexibility 's. We want to make sure that we are prepared with our body to form any kind of mold" I say.
