"It's a very good thing that you brought her her here too soon or else her wound may be severely infected that may require amputation. I'll be back after an hour to see her state."

I stood from my sit to shake hands with the doctor. "Thank you for this Doktora Estrada."

She smiled. "No need to. It's my job to help patients. Please press the emergency button if something's wrong."

I nodded before seeing the doctor out off of Mckenzie's hospital room.

My eyes darted on her left neck where in it was covered by a bandage.

I can't really explain what I'd been feeling lately after she lost her consciousness. God! If I wasn't the one who carried Mckenzie in my arms that time, I could've really killed Jerome.

I blinked twice before looking at my phone, I realized that I was occupied by the things happened hours ago.

"Any update?" I stood from my sit then walks near window glass.

"Damn, bro! I can't believe that sis-in-law fell inlove with a drug user."

I clenched my jaw before glancing at Mckenzie who is sleeping peacefully on the bed.

"Don't mention that man or I will kill you with my bare hands."

"Fuck you! I'm helping you and you should have known that."

"Be serious, Dylan. I want a serious update."

I heard him sigh on the other line, he's managing to calm down despite my very serious tone. "Well as what you heard. He and his friend were positive from using drugs that's why... They'll go inside the jail now that they're eighteen. If even sis-in-law doesn't want to file a case against him, they will still put behind those bars. That's all bro."

"Thank you bro. How about Mckenzie's friend? Did you already brought her home safely? Is she alright?"

I heard him heavily-sighed. "Don't worry about here bro, she went home safe and there's a two bodyguards outside her apartment."

"That's good to hear. I'll go now."

"Mom. She's worried about you. Isn't time for you to come home tr..."

"Dylan, I have to go." I cut him off before ending the call.

God knows that I'm avoiding his mom and dad. My relationship with my father is complicated since he had married another woman that is now Dylan and Ably's mother.

But Ably is missing up until now and we hired an private investigator to sear her all around the world. But we still do not have any update about her, but that Willow... I don't think she's Ably but I feel something different the first time I saw her.

Not the way I felt when I saw Mckenzie.

Because I almost cry when she's speeching infront. She's something, I'm sure of it. I just need to prove it.

I saw it on my own eyes that my mom died because she's has a cancer. I believe in God, that God will heal mom, but my mom surrendered which is I understand. She's on pain that I can't take to see her condition at that time so I keep on convincing her to be strong and she also promised me that she wanted to be with me for so long until I grow up and until I'll build my own family.
